Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide:

Expected to top the weekend box office is the drama Fifty Shades Freed directed by James Foley and starring Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan, Arielle Kebbel, Kim Basinger, Brant Daugherty and Luke Grimes. Republic Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie by Liam Hayes & Rita Ora, Hailee Steinfeld x BloodPop, Miike Snow & more. Click here for the full details. Also opening wide is the family comedy Peter Rabbit created by Will Gluck and starring James Corden, Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson, Sam Neill, Daisy Ridley, Elizabeth Debicki and Margot Robbie. Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High CastleMoney MonsterFree BirdsDuckTales) has composed the film’s original score. Columbia Records has released a single featuring a score suite, as well as the song I Promise You written by Ezra Koenig & Gluck and performed by Corden. Rob Simonsen has recently composed the music for the upcoming supernatural drama Fast Color. The film is directed by Julia Hart and stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Lorraine Toussaint, Saniyya Sidney, Christopher Denham and David Strathairn. The movie revolves around a woman who is forced to go on the run when her extraordinary abilities are discovered. Hart also co-wrote the screenplay with Jordan Horowitz (La La Land, The Kids Are All Right) who is producing the project with Mickey Liddell (Jackie, The Grey, Go) and Pete Shilaimon (Megan Leavey, Risen). He returns for his fifth Oscar telecast, his third as music director following the ceremonies in 2016 & 2017. Wheeler is best known as an orchestrator, composer, conductor, arranger and record producer and has received numerous Emmy and Tony Award nominations. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album for the Paramount Network limited series Waco. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Jeff Russo (Fargo, The Night Of, Star Trek: Discovery, Legion, Altered Carbon) and Jordan Gagne. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Waco is created by John Erick Dowdle & Drew Dowdle and stars Michael Shannon, Taylor Kitsch, John Leguizamo, Andrea Riseborough, Rory Culkin, Melissa Benoist, Paul Sparks, Shea Whigham, Camryn Manheim and Julia Garner. Julianne Jordan and Julia Michels received the top honor in the Best Music Supervision in Motion Picture – Motion Picture Over 25M for their work on Universal Pictures’ Pitch Perfect 3. Brian Ross and Michael Hill received the award in the Motion Picture Under 25M category for their music supervision on Greta Gerwig’s Lady Bird. ‘Fallen’ Soundtrack Details

BMG will release a soundtrack album for the fantasy romance Fallen. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mark Isham (Once Upon a Time, Crash, A River Runs Through It, The Accountant, Quiz Show). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 9 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Fallen is directed by Scott Hicks (Shine) and stars Addison Timlin, Jeremy Irvine, Harrison Gilbertson, Juliet Aubrey, David Schaal, Hermione Corfield, Lola Kirke and Joely Richardson. The movie is based on the YA novel by Lauren Kate and follows a shy teen who is suspected of killing a boy and is sent to Sword and Cross reform school, where she is confronted by frequent supernatural occurrences and it becomes clear that the majority of students are fallen angels on the side of good or evil. The full details of the soundtrack album for Alex Garland’s sci-fi thriller Annihilation have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ben Salisbury & Geoff Barrow (Free Fire) who previously scored the director’s 2015 feature Ex Machina. The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 23, 2018 by Lakeshore Records in the U.S. and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A vinyl version is also in the works. Annihilation is written and directed by Garland and stars Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodgriguez, Tessa Thompson, Tuva Novotny and Oscar Isaac. The movie is based on Jeff VanderMeer’s best-selling Southern Reach Trilogy and follows a biologist who embarks on a four-person expedition into a territory cut off from civilization while searching for clues about her husband’s disappearance. Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the sci-fi action adventure Pacific Rim Uprising. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lorne Balfe (The LEGO Batman Movie, Genius, Home, 12 Strong, Terminator Genisys, The Crown).
