Atli Orvarsson has been tapped to score the upcoming CBS drama FBI. The show is developed by Dick Wolf (Law & Order, NYPD Blue) and stars Missy Peregrym, Jeremy Sisto, Zeeko Zaki and Ebonee Noel. The series explores the inner workings of the New York office of the FBI, bringing to bear all the Bureau’s skills, intellect and mind-blowing technology to keep New York and the country safe. Wolf is also producing the Universal TV Studios & CBS Television Studios production with Peter Jankowski, Arthur Forney, showrunner Craig Turk (The Good Wife, Private Practice) as well as Niels Arden Oplev (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Dead Men Down) who also directed the first episode. Harry Gregson-Williams has been hired to score the upcoming Disneynature documentary Penguins. The film is directed by Alastair Fothergill (Earth, African Cats, Chimpanzee), co-directed by Mark Linfield and Jeff Wilson and tells the coming-of-age story about an Adélie penguin named Steve who joins millions of fellow males in the icy Antarctic spring on a quest to build a suitable nest, find a life partner and start a family. The directors are also producing the project with Keith Scholey and Roy Conli. Gregson-Williams has previously scored Disneynature’s 2015 feature Monkey Kingdom directed by Linfield & Fothergill. Geoff Zanelli is set to reteam with David Koepp on the upcoming horror thriller You Should Have Left. The film is written and directed by Koepp (Stir of Echoes, screenwriter of Jurassic Park & Spider-Man) and stars Kevin Bacon. The movie is based on Daniel Kehlmann’s 2007 novel of the same title and follows screenwriter who is working on a sequel to his hit film in a remote house in the Alps and begins to lose his bearings thanks to unexplained occurrences. Universal Music Classics/Decca Gold announced a soundtrack album for the biographical drama Mary Shelley. The album features the film’s original score composed by Amelia Warner (Mum’s List). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, May 25, 2018 and will be available to download on Amazon. Mary Shelley is co-written and directed by Haifaa Al-Mansour and stars Elle Fanning, Maisie Williams, Bel Powley, Douglas Booth, Joanne Froggatt and Stephen Dillane. The movie chronicles the Frankenstein author’s tempestuous marriage to dissolute poet Percy Bysshe Shelley and the fateful night at a Swiss chateau that inspired her most famous creation. WaterTower Music has released the cover versions of Wu-Tang Clan’s C.R.E.A.M. and The Rolling Stone’s Paint It Black by composer Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Iron Man, A Wrinkle in Time, Pacific Rim) as featured in the last episode of the HBO original series Westworld.
