The details of the second soundtrack album for Jane Schoenbrun’s horror movie Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma have been announced. The album features film’s original score composed by Alex G who previously composed the music for the director’s first two features, I Saw the TV Glow & We’re All Going to the World’s Fair. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 11 by Waxwork Records. A vinyl edition will be available to order on Waxwork’s official website. The label has previously released the original soundtrack featuring selections of the score, as well the original song Pain Is the Heart of Love written by Alex G and feat. vocals by Paul Buchanan of The Blue Nile, as well as tracks by R.E.M., Sally Shapiro, Counting Crows & others last month. Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma is written and directed by Schoenbrun and stars Hannah Einbinder, Gillian Anderson, Amanda Fix, Eva Victor, Arthur Conti, Zach Cherry,Dylan Baker, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sarah Sherman, Kevin McDonald, Patrick Fischler, Quintessa Swindell and Jack Haven. The movie was released in theaters last month by MUBI following a premiere at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
