Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for the fantasy adventure Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. The album features the film’s original music composed by Geoff Zanelli (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Disturbia, Christopher Robin). Also included is the original song You Can’t Stop the Girl by Bebe Rexha, which has already been released as a digital single. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 18 and will be available to stream and download here. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is directed by Joachim Rønning and stars Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sam Riley, Harris Dickinson, Ed Skrein, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville.

Warner Records has released the original song You Can’t Stop the Girl from Disney’s fantasy adventure Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. The track is performed by Bebe Rexha who also co-wrote the track with The Futuristics, Michael Pollack, Nate Cyphert, Evan Sult, Aaron Huffman, Jeff Lin and Sean Nelson. Geoff Zanelli to Score ‘Maleficent: Mistress of Evil’
Geoff Zanelli is reteaming with director Joachim Rønning on the upcoming fantasy adventure sequel Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. The film starring Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sam Riley, Harris Dickinson, Ed Skrein, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville picks up several years after the original 2014 film (which was scored by James Newton Howard) and explores the complex relationship between the horned fairy and the soon to be Queen as they form new alliances and face new adversaries in their struggle to protect the moors and the magical creatures that reside within.

Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the end credits song A Million Ways to Die performed by Alan Jackson and the film’s musical number If You’ve Only Got a Moustache. James Newton Howard to Score Disney’s ‘Maleficent’
James Newton Howard has signed on to score the upcoming fantasy movie Maleficent. The film marks the directorial debut of Academy Award-winning production designer Robert Stromberg (Avatar, Alice in Wonderland) and stars Angelina Jolie as the green-skinned wicked witch from Disney’s 1959 animated feature Sleeping Beauty. The movie tells the fairy tale from the perspective of Aurora’s evil nemesis, revealing the back story that led her to curse the girl as a baby. Elle Fanning portrays Princess Aurora and Sharlto Copley, Juno Temple, Sam Riley, Miranda Richardson and Imelda Staunton are also starring. Linda Woolverton (Alice in Wonderland) has written the screenplay.
