Tangelene Bolton (Warrior Nun, Awkwafina Is Nora from QueensLet’s Be Tigers) has composed the original score for the upcoming horror thriller The Last Kiss. The film is directed by Yoko Okumura and stars Mckenna Grace, Arkira Chantaratananond, Jaden Michael, Kate Drummond, Ash Lee, Riley Davis, Eve Edwards, Samantha Espie, Cooper Levy and Stephanie Moore. The movie follows a teenager who has always imagined her first kiss would be a fairy tale and whose fantasy turns frightening when she’s cursed with an ability to see the death of anyone she kisses. After a vision reveals her crush is doomed to die in a strange murder spree targeting her closest friends, she races to unmask the killer before the mystery becomes a massacre. Jason Blum (Get Out, Halloween) is producing the Blumhouse production with Michael Fimognari (The House of the Fall of Usher) and Sébastien K. Lemercier (The Purge, White Bird in a Blizzard). Bolton has previously scored Okumura’s last feature, Unseen. The Last Kiss will be released on Digital on September 15, 2026 by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
