Premiering on Tuesday, May 20, is the Prime Video original series Motorheads created by John A. Norris and starring Ryan Phillippe, Nathalie Kelley, Michael Cimino, Melissa Collazo, Nicolas Cantu, Uriah Shelton, Mia Healey, Josh Macqueen, Drake Rodger, Matt Lanter, Johnna Dias-Watson and Audrey Gerthoffer. The show’s original music is composed by Waz & Jamie Jackson (aka WAZ-JACKSON) (Cougar Town, Bad Monkey, Undateable, Bluff City Law, Life Sentence, Rush Hour, Surviving Jack, Egg). Premiering on Thursday, May 22, is the Netflix limited series Sirens created by Molly Smith Metzler and starring Julianne Moore, Meghann Fahy, Kevin Bacon, Glenn Howerton and Milly Alcock. Michael Abels (Get Out, Us, Nope, Star Wars: The Acolyte, The Burial, Landscape with Invisible Hand, See You Yesterday, Breaking) has composed the show’s original music. Jim Williams (Possessor, Beast, Resurrection, House of Spoils, A Field in England, Sightseers) has recently scored the upcoming French drama Alpha. The film is written and directed by Julia Ducournau and stars Golshifteh Farahani, Tahar Rahim, Mélissa Boros, Emma Mackey, Finnegan Oldfield and Louai El Amrousy. ‘The Bombing of Pan Am 103’ Soundtrack Album Details

Rock Action Records will release the official soundtrack album for the BBC drama The Bombing of Pan Am 103. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by the Scottish post-rock band Mogwai (Black Bird, The Returned, ZeroZeroZero, Kin, Before the Flood). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 18 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the band’s first track below. The Bombing of Pan Am 103 is created by Jonathan Lee, directed by Michael Keillor and stars Connor Swindells, Patrick J. Adams, Merritt Wever, Eddie Marsan, Peter Mullan, Tony Curran, Kevin McKidd and Nicholas Gleaves. The 6-parter is based on the true story of the bombing of a passenger flight over the Scottish town of Lockerbie in 1988 and the quest to bring its perpetrators to justice. The Scottish hip hop trio Young Fathers (Alloysious Massaquoi, Kayus Bankole & ‘G’ Hastings) are composing the original music for the upcoming post-apocalyptic horror feature 28 Years Later. The film is directed by Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, Trainspotting) and stars Jodie Comer, ​Aaron Taylor-Johnson, ​Jack O’Connell, ​Alfie Williams ​and Ralph Fiennes. The movie takes place 28 years after the events of the 2002 original 28 Days Later film and its sequel 28 Weeks Later (both scored by John Murphy) and follows a group of survivors who have found ways to exist amidst the infected on a small island. When one of them leaves the island on a mission into the heart of the mainland, he discovers secrets, wonders, and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but other survivors as well. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the horror movie Final Destination: Bloodlines directed by Zach Lipovsky & Adam B. Stein and starring Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Brec Bassinger, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Richard Harmon and Tony Todd.  The film’s original music is composed by Tim Wynn (Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, Freaks, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, XCOM 2, Warhawk, Mech-X4, The Starving Games). Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Check out our previous article for the full album details and to learn more about the New Line Cinema production, which is being released by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Also opening wide is the musical psychological thriller Hurry Up Tomorrow co-written and directed by Trey Edward Shults and starring Abel Tesfaye (aka The Weeknd), Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan. Tesfaye has also co-scored the movie with Daniel Lopatin (aka Oneohtrix Point Never) (Uncut Gems, Good Time, The Mountain, The Bling Ring) have composed the film’s original score. No word on a score release. XO & Republic Records have released The Weeknd’s companion album of the same title this past January (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download). ‘Pride and Prejudice’ 20th Anniversary Vinyl Edition Soundtrack Album Announced

Decca Records has announced the premiere vinyl release of the soundtrack album for the 2005 drama Pride and Prejudice directed by Joe Wright and starring Keira Knightley, Matthew Macfadyen, Brenda Blethyn, Donald Sutherland, Rosamund Pike, Tom Hollander, Jena Malone, Penelope Wilton and Judi Dench. The album, which is being released to coincide with the movie’s 20th anniversary, features the film’s Academy Award-nominated original score composed by Dario Marianelli (Atonement, Darkest Hour, Anna Karenina,V for Vendetta, Kubo and the Two Strings, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Bumblebee), performed by pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet and the English Chamber Orchestra. The soundtrack will be released on June 27 as a standard vinyl re-issue of the original soundtrack with original artwork, as well as a newly designed limited “deluxe” edition vinyl housed in a deluxe gatefold jacket featuring a 16-page booklet with rare photos. ‘Dear Hongrang’ Soundtrack Album Released

Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the South Korean Netflix original series Dear Hongrang. The album features three songs from the show by 4BOUT, Kwon Jin Ah & Tejong, as well as score tracks by composers including Choe Jeong In, Kim Yeon Jeong, Yoon Chae Young, Julia Jung Un Suh and Park Jung Eun. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to several tracks from the album below. Dear Hongrang is created by Kim Hong-sun & Kim Jin-a and stars Lee Jae-wook, Cho Bo-ah, Jung Ga-ram, Park Byung-eun, Uhm Ji-won and Kim Jae-uck. The mystery romance period drama follows the son of a powerful Joseon merchant who went missing as a child. Atlantic Records has released the third track from the soundtrack for the sports action drama F1. Available to stream/download on all major digital music services is No Room for a Saint co-written (with Toby Scott) and performed by Dom Dolla feat. Nathan Nicholson. Doja Cat & Messy by Blackpink’s Rosé) over the last few weeks and will release the full F1 The Album on June 27 (click here for the details of the album). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album for the British Disney+/Freeform limited series The Stolen Girl. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Ben Onono (Missing You, Half of a Yellow Sun, Safe, Ridley Road, Spell, Paranoid, Trust Me). The Stolen Girl is developed by Catherine Moulton based on Alex Dahl’s bestselling novel Playdate, directed by Eva Husson and stars Holliday Grainger, Denise Gough, Ambika Mod, Jim Sturgess, Michael Workéyè and Bronagh Waugh. The 5-part psychological drama follows a couple whose mundane existence spirals into chaos when their daughter goes missing after what appears to be a normal sleepover with a school friend and the mother is forced to embark on a chase across Europe to discover the truth about her disappearance. Partisan Records & Mushroom Music have released a digital single featuring two songs from the comedy Sister Midnight: cover versions of Iggy Pop’s (and The Stooges’) Gimme Danger & Sister Midnight performed by lead singer of the rock band Interpol Paul Banks who also composed the film’s original score.
