Fil Eisler has recently been recording his music for the upcoming Netflix original series What/If. The show is created by Mike Kelley (Revenge, Swingtown) and stars Renee Zellweger, Jane Levy, Blake Jenner and Daniella Pineda. The neo-noir drama follows a pair of cash-strapped newlyweds who accept a lucrative but morally dubious offer from a mysterious female benefactor. Kelley is also executive producing the Warner Bros. La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1987 sci-fi drama Project X directed by Jonathan Kaplan and starring Matthew Broderick and Helen Hunt. The album features the remastered original score from the 20th Century Fox production composed and conducted by James Horner (Titanic, Avatar, Braveheart, Aliens, Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind, The Amazing Spider-Man), including a previously unreleased track. The CD, which is limited to 1,500 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can listen to audio samples and find out more about the release.

Warner Music New Zealand has released a soundtrack album for the indie musical drama Daffodils. The album features the songs from the movie written by the Lips (aka Steph Brown & Fen Ikner) and performed by the New Zealand band and cast members Kimbra, Rose McIver and George Mason. The soundtrack is now available to stream on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Daffodils is directed by David Stubbs, written by Rochelle Bright and follows an indie musician who, after being told by her father on his death bed, recounts her parents’ bittersweet romance.
