Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for Raymond De Felitta’s drama Bottom of the 9th. The album features the film’s original music composed by Stephen Endelman (Flirting with Disaster, Home of the Brave, Jawbreaker) who previously scored the director’s features Two Family House & Rob the Mob and the mini-series Madoff. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Christopher Young’s ‘Virtuosity’ Score to Be Released

Intrada Records has announced the world premiere commercial release of the score from the 1995 sci-fi thriller Virtuosity directed by Brett Leonard and starring Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe, Kelly Lynch, Stephen Spinella, William Forsythe and Louise Fletcher. The film’s original music is composed by Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3, Hellraiser, Pet Sematary, The Grudge, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Ghost Rider). Remote Control Productions will release a new soundtrack album featuring previously unreleased suites and themes written for the X-Men movie Dark Phoenix. The film’s music is composed by Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, The Dark Knight, Gladiator, Inception). Xperiments from Dark Phoenix will be released digitally on August 2, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The album, which was originally planned to be released as part of a 2-CD set, sparked a fan petition when those plans appeared to be canceled. Columbia Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood. The album features the songs from the movie by Deep Purple, Simon & Garfunkel, Paul Revere & The Raiders, The Bob Seger System, Buffy Sainte-Marie, The Buchanan Brothers, a track from Maurice Jarre’s score from The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean & more . A soundtrack album has been released for the Japanese animated feature Weathering With You. The album features the film’s original music composed by the Japanese rock band Radwimps (Your Name). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Weathering With You is directed by Makoto Shinkai, produced by Genki Kawamura and follows a high-school freshman who runs away from his remote island home to Tokyo, where he soon finds himself pushed to his financial and personal limits and finds work as a writer for a mysterious occult magazine. The animated movie was just released last weekend in Japan and is set to open in select U.S. theaters in early 2020 by GKIDS following an awards-qualifying run in late 2019. Mark Isham has been hired to score the upcoming crime thriller Honest Thief. The film is directed by Mark Williams (Ozark) and stars Liam Neeson, Kate Walsh, Anthony Ramos, Jai Courtney, Jeffrey Donovan and Jeffrey Wright. The movie centers on a bank robber who tries to turn himself in because he’s falling in love with a woman. Steve Allrich wrote the screenplay.
