The Chainsmokers have made their film scoring debut on the upcoming drama Words on Bathroom Walls. The EDM duo has co-scored the movie with composer Andrew Hollander (Waitress, Sleepwalk with Me, Gray Matters, Serious Moonlight). The movie is directed by Thor Freudenthal (Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters) and stars Charlie Plummer, Taylor Russell, Andy Garcia, AnnaSophia Robb, Beth Grant, Devon Bostick, Lobo Sebastian, Molly Parker and Walton Goggins. Bear McCreary has recently scored the upcoming action thriller Ava. The film is directed by Tate Taylor (The Help, Ma, The Girl on the Train) and stars Jessica Chastain, Colin Farrell, Common, John Malkovich, Geena Davsi, Ioan Gruffudd and Joan Chen. The movie revolves around a deadly assassin who works for a black ops organization, traveling the globe specializing in high profile hits.
