The full details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix animated musical Over the Moon have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Steven Price (Gravity, Our Planet, Suicide Squad, The World’s End). Also included are the movie’s original songs written by Christopher Curtis (Chaplin: The Musical), Marjorie Duffield & Helen Park (KPOP The Musical) and performed by the film’s voice cast. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 23, 2020 by Milan Records and will be available to stream/download here. Chiu, Ken Jeong, John Cho, Ruthie Ann Miles, Margaret Cho, Kimiko Glenn, Artt Butler and Sandra Oh. Christopher Curtis, Marjorie Duffield & Helen Park to Write Original Songs for Glen Keane’s Over the Moon’
Netflix announced today that Christopher Curtis, Marjorie Duffield and Helen Park are writing original songs for the upcoming animated feature Over the Moon. The film is directed by Glen Keane (Dear Basketball) and follows a girl who builds a rocket ship and blasts off to the moon in hopes of meeting a legendary Moon Goddess. Audrey Wells (Shall We Dance, Under the Tuscan Sun) wrote the screenplay. Gennie Rim (Dear Basketball, Duet) is producing the Pearl Studios production. Janet Yang (Joy Luck Club, People Vs Larry Flynt) serves as the executive producer.
