Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, March 15, is the British mini-series Bloodlands created by Chris Brandon, directed by Pete Travis and starring James Nesbitt, Lisa Dwan, Charlene McKenna, Lorcan Cranitch, Ian McElhinney, Lola Petticrew and Chris Walley. The show’s original music is composed by Ruth Barrett (Bodyguard, Collateral, Victoria, Harry Brown, Sanditon). Premiering on Wednesday, March 17, is the Netflix documentary Operation Varsity Blues: The College Admissions Scandal directed by Chris Smith and written by Jon Karmen about Rick Singer, the man at the center of the shocking 2019 college admissions scandal. Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Soul, Watchmen, Mank), Leopold Ross (The Book of Eli, Dispatches from Elsewhere) & Nick Chuba have composed the film’s original score.
