Shawn Pierce is composing the music for Chiller’s first scripted drama Slasher. The show is created by Aaron Martin (Degrassi: The Next Generation) and stars Katie McGrath, Brandon Jay McLaren, Steve Byers, Dean McDermott, Enuka Okuma and Erin Karpluk. The series’ first season follows a woman who returns home to find herself wrapped up in a series of grisly murders that mirror the death of her parents. Christina Jennings & Scott Garvie (Murdoch Mysteries) are executive producing the project with Martin. Craig David Wallace has directed all episodes of the 8-episode season.

‘Fargo’ Season 2 Score Album Details
The details of the score soundtrack album for Year 2 of the FX original series Fargo have been revealed. The album features selections from the original music for the show’s second season composed by Jeff Russo (Power, Tut, CSI: Cyber, The Returned). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 25, 2016 by Sony Classical and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. As previously reported, the label will also release a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the show’s second season on the same day. Sony Classical has previously also released a soundtrack featuring Russo’s music from the first season. Fargo Season 2 is created by Noah Hawley and stars Kirsten Dunst, Patrick Wilson, Jesse Plemons, Jean Smart and Ted Danson.
Soundtrack Details for Fox’s ‘The Passion: New Orleans’
Virgin Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Fox television event The Passion. The album features the music from the live musical performed by the cast including Yolanda Adams, Seal, Chris Daughtry, Trisha Yearwood, Prince Royce and Jencarlos who are performing contemporary hit songs such as My Love Is Your Love, When Love Takes Over, Love Can Move Mountains & more. Adam Anders (Glee, Rock of Ages) serves as the project’s music producer. The soundtrack will be released on March 18, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Passion will be hosted and narrated by New Orleans native Tyler Perry and tells the story of the last hours of Jesus Christ.

The album features a selection of the songs from the show’s second season by artists including Fleetwood Mac, Billy Thorpe, The Dramatics, The Chieftains feat. Bon Iver, Bobbie Gentry, Lisa Hannigan, Bobby Womack & more. Also included is the cover version of Didn’t Leave Nobody But the Baby by the show’s creator Noah Hawley and composer Jeff Russo from the first episode of the season. Transcenders Scoring ABC’s ‘The Real O’Neals’
The music production team of Transcenders has recently composed the score for the new ABC comedy The Real O’Neals. The show is created by David Windsor & Casey Johnson and stars Martha Plimpton, Jay R. Ferguson, Noah Galvin, Matthew Shively, Bebe Wood and Mary Hollis Inboden. The series centers on a seemingly perfect Catholic family whose lives take an unexpected turn when their son comes out. Windsor and Johnson are also executive producing the ABC Studios production with Brian Pines, Dan McDermott, Todd Holland (Firehouse Dog, Wonderfalls), Stacy Traub (Notes from the Underbelly) and Dan Savage.
ITV’s ‘Maigret’ to Feature Music by Samuel Sim
Samuel Sim is composing the music for the upcoming ITV drama Maigret. The series based on Georges Simenon’s best-selling novels is set in 1950s Paris and stars Rowan Atkinson as the legendary French fictional detective Jules Maigret. Fiona Shaw, Aiden McCardle, Shaun Dingwall, Lucy Cohu, Leo Starr, Rufus Wright, Hugh Simon, David Dawson, Colin Mace and Rebecca Night are co-starring. The drama is written by Stewart Harcourt (Treasure Island, Marple), produced by Jeremy Gwilt (Home Fires) and executive produced by Barnaby Thompson (An Ideal Husband, Dorian Gray, St. Trinians) and Ben Latham-Jones (The D Train) for Ealing Studios, John Simenon & Paul Aggett and Stewart Harcourt.

Premiering tomorrow, February 22, is the HBO documentary Becoming Mike Nichols directed and produced by Douglas McGrath and documents the early life of the influential director and producer. The film’s original music is composed by David Lawrence (American Pie, High School Musical, Jericho, Van Wilder: Party Liaison) who previously scored McGrath’s 2000 feature Company Men. Premiering on Thursday, February 25, is the British mini-series Prey created by Chris Lunt and starring Rosie Cavaliero, John Simm, Philip Glenister and MyAnna Buring. Daniel Pemberton (Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Counselor) has scored the first three episodes directed by Nick Murphy and Sarah Warne composed the music for the other three episodes directed by Lewis Arnold. ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’ Season 1 – Volume 1 Soundtrack Released
WaterTower Music has released the first full soundtrack album for the CW musical comedy drama Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. The album features the songs from the show written by Rachel Bloom, Adam Schlesinger and Jack Dolgen and performed by the series’ cast. Jerome Kurtenbach co-wrote the song West Covina from the pilot episode. Also included are five original song demos. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is created by Aline Brosh McKenna & Rachel Bloom who also stars in the show alongside Santino Fontana, Donna Lynne Champlin, Vincent Rodriguez III, Pete Gardner, Vella Lovell and Gabrielle Ruiz. The series follows a single woman and her elusive pursuit of her longtime soul mate who dumped her while they were dating in high school ten years ago.
‘Vinyl’ Vol. 1.2 Soundtrack Released
Atlantic Records has released a new EP for the HBO original series Vinyl. The soundtrack features the songs from the second episode of the show by The Del-Tino’s, Aimee Mann, Jerry Lee Lewis, Julian Casablancas and Don Covay. The EP is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The label has previously released a full soundtrack album for the show and over the next couple of weeks will release new EPs every week with the songs from each episode. Vinyl created by Terence Winter, executive produced by Martin Scorsese and starring Bobby Cannavale, Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Juno Temple, Ato Essandoh, P. J. Byrne, J. C. Interscope Records will release a new soundtrack album for the HBO original series Girls. The album features a selection of songs from the show by artists including Ellie Goulding, Bleachers and Grimes, St. Vincent, BØRNS, Lucy Rose, Casey Veggies, Matrimony, Christine and the Queens & more. Also included are two tracks from the show’s original score composed by Michael Penn (Masters of Sex, Boogie Nights). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 19 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples.
