‘Fargo’ TV Series Soundtrack Details

fargoThe details of the soundtrack album for the critically acclaimed FX original series Fargo have been revealed. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Jeff Russo (PowerNecessary RoughnessAbout Cherry). The soundtrack will be released on July 1, 2014 by Sony Masterworks and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. Fargo is created by Noah Hawley inspired Joel & Ethan Coen’s feature of the same title. The show stars Martin Freeman, Billy Bob Thornton, Allison Tolman, Colin Hanks, Oliver Platt, Bon Odenkirk, Kate Walsh, Glenn Howerton and Joey King. The final episode of the show’s first season will air next Tuesday, June 17 on FX. For more information about the series, visit the official show website.

    big mistake to ignore the vinyl record buyer, we spend more than the CD buyer these days

      Where in the world did you get that idea? Last year under 200 million CD’s were sold and six million vinyls — no contest. HEck, Beyounce and Justin Timerlake’s CD sales were almost as much as vinyl alone (a scary thought, I know).

      The vinyl buyers are not spending as much, and in fact it’s a big mistake for any company to release a vinyl of randomd CD’s. Consider how many song, score, and classical CD’s sell every year, and then re-consiuder that six million number. If ever release had a vinyl, they’d lose money.
