The show is written by Rory Haines & Sohrab Noshirvani, directed by Jonny Campbell (The Last Post, The Casual Vacancy) and stars Paddy Considine, Bel Powley, Nabhaan Rizwan, Jessica Raine, Sharon D. Clarke, Sunetra Sarker and Roger Jean Nsengiyumva. The 6-part thriller centers on a a young, second generation Pakistani man from East London who is coerced by a Counter-Terrorism officer to go undercover and inform for him.

‘Mr. Robot’ Volume 5 Soundtrack Details
Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the USA original series Mr. Robot. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s third season composed by Emmy Award winner Mac Quayle (American Horror Story, American Crime Story, Feud: Bette and Joan, Pose). The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 17, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label has previously released four soundtrack albums featuring the composer’s music from the first two seasons. Season 3 of Mr. Robot created by Sam Esmail and starring Rami Malek, Christian Slater, Portia Doubleday, Martin Wallstrom and Carly Chaikin premiered last fall on USA.
Soundtrack Album for Paramount Network’s ‘Yellowstone’ to Be Released
Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the Paramount Network original series Yellowstone. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Brian Tyler (Fast & Furious series, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3, Now You See Me, Thor: The Dark World), including the composer’s main titles theme. Details Revealed for ‘It’s Always Blue: Songs from Legion’ Soundtrack Album
The full details of the new soundtrack album for the FX original series Legion featuring the cover songs from the show have been revealed. Writer/director/producer Noah Hawley and composer Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery, The Night Of, Mile 22) have created the cover versions of songs such as Jefferson Airplane’s White Rabbit, Cream’s White Room, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ Don’t Come Around Here No More, R.E.M.’ Superman & others. It’s Alway Blue: Songs from Legion will be released digitally on August 17, 2018 by Lakeshore Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon and iTunes (deluxe edition). A vinyl version is also in the works. The label has previously released two soundtrack albums for the series’ first season, as well as an album featuring Russo’s score from the second season.

The album features the songs from the movie originally written for the Freaky Friday stage adaptation by Tom Kitt & Brian Yorkey and performed by the film’s cast, as well as At Last It’s Me, an original pop song performed by Cozi Zuehlsdorff. Simon Franglen is the composer of the upcoming mini-series The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair. The show is directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud (The Name of the Rose, The Bear, Seven Years in Tibet) and stars Patrick Dempsey, Ben Schnetzer, Damon Wayans Jr., Virginia Madsen, Colm Feore and Kristine Froseth. The 10-parter is based on the novel of the same name by Joël Dicker and tells the story of a literary icon who suddenly finds himself indicted in the cold-case murder of a girl who has been missing for many years.
Steven Price Scoring Netflix’s ‘Our Planet’
Steven Price has been tapped to compose the music for the upcoming Netflix nature documentary series Our Planet. The show is produced by Silverback Films, led by Alastair Fothergill (Deep Blue, Earth) & Keith Scholey (Bears, African Cats), and explores remote wilderness areas across the globe. The 8-parter will present never-before-filmed settings, ranging from the ice caps and deep ocean to deserts and remote forests, featuring some of the world’s rarest animals and most precious natural habitats.
Netflix’s ‘Maniac’ to Feature Music by Dan Romer
Dan Romer is scoring the upcoming Netflix original limited series Maniac. The show is developed by Patrick Somervile, directed by Cary Fukunaga (True Detective, Jane Eyre, Sin Nombre) and stars Emma Stone, Jonah Hill, Sonoya Mizuno, Justin Theroux, Julia Garner and Sally Field. The comedy is based on the Norwegian television series of the same title created by Hakon Bast Mossige & Espen PA Lervaag, follows two strangers who find themselves caught up in a mind-bending pharmaceutical trial gone awry.

Premiering tomorrow, August 6, is the AMC original series Lodge 49 created by Jim Gavin and starring Wyatt Russell, Brent Jennings, Sonya Cassidy, Linda Emond, David Pasquesi and Eric Allan Kramer. The show’s original music is composed by Andrew Carroll. The series is set in Long Beach, California and centers on a disarmingly optimistic local ex-surfer who’s drifting after the death of his father and collapse of the family business. The series follows a television actor who returns to his small hometown after a public meltdown and partners with his detective friend to use his acting experience to solve real crimes.
