Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the CBS All Access original series Star Trek: Discovery. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Fargo, Legion, The Night Of, The Act, Mile 22, Counterpart). Also included are three tracks from Russo’s score for Short Treks. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 19 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A physical version is also in the works. The label has previously released two soundtrack albums featuring the composer’s music from the series’ first season.

Lorne Balfe to Score Amazon’s ‘This Is Football’
Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible: Fallout, The Lego Batman Movie, Home, Terminator Genysis, Genius, Pacific Rim: Uprising) is set to score the upcoming Amazon docu-series This Is Football. The show written and co-created by journalist and author John Carlin will tell six stories about the global power of soccer, including football’s uplifting role in Rwanda after the genocide, the rise of the women’s game, and Barcelona and Argentina superstar Lionel Messi. Joe Roth (Alice in Wonderland, Maleficent) is producing the October Films, Brutal Media and Starbucks production with Jos Cushing (Barbarians Rising).
TNT’s ‘Tell Me Your Secrets’ to Feature Music by Peter Raeburn
Peter Raeburn (Woodshock, Nancy, Photograph) is the composer of the upcoming TNT original series Tell Me Your Secrets. The show is created by Harriet Warner (Call the Midwife, Mistresses) and stars Lily Rabe, Enrique Murciano, Hamish Linklater, Elliot Fletcher, Xavier Samuel, Stella Baker, Ashley Madekwe, Charles Esten, Chiara Aurelia, Bryant Tardy and Amy Brenneman. The thriller centers on a trio of characters each with a mysterious and troubling past, including a young woman who once looked into the eyes of a dangerous killer, a former serial predator desperate to find redemption and a grieving mother obsessed with finding her missing daughter.

Premiering tonight is the Showtime limited series The Loudest Voice developed by Tom McCarthy & Gabriel Sherman and starring Russell Crowe as Roger Ailes, Naomi Watts, Sienna Miller, Seth MacFarlane, Simon McBurney and Annabelle Wallis. The show’s original music is composed by Marcelo Zarvos (Fences, Wonder, The Good Shepherd, Enough Said, The Affair, Ray Donovan). Also premiering tonight is the new Starz original series The Rook developed by Al Blyth & Sam Holcroft based on Daniel O’Malley’s novel of the same title and starring Emma Greenwell, Olivia Munn, Jon Fletcher, Joely Richardson and Adrian Lester. Nathan Barr (True Blood, The Americans, The House with a Clock in Its Walls, Hostel, Cabin Fever) is composing the show’s original score. ‘Poldark’ – The Ultimate Collection Soundtrack to Be Released
Sony Classical will release a new soundtrack album for the BBC drama Poldark. The 3-CD set features selections of the original music from all five seasons of the series composed by Academy Award winner Anne Dudley (The Full Monty, The Crying Game, American History X, Elle, The Hustle). The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on July 12, 2019. Check back on this page or the pre-order link. Poldark is created by Debbie Horsefield and stars Aidan Turner, Tomlinson, Ruby Bentall, Beatie Edney, Jack Farthing and Heida Reed.

Milan Records has released the first soundtrack album for the CBS All Access original series Strange Angel. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Daniel Hart (Pete’s Dragon, A Ghost Story, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, The Old Man and the Gun, Comet). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Strange Angel is created by Mark Heyman based on George Pendle’s book of the same title and stars Jack Reynor, Rupert Friend, Bella Heathcote, Peter Mark Kendall, Michael Gaston, Greg Wise, Rade Šerbedžija, Zack Pearlman and Keye Chen..
Matt Bomer’s ‘People Like Us’ Cover from ‘Doom Patrol’ Released
WaterTower Music has released the cover version of Kelly Clarkson’s People Like Us from the DC Universe original series Doom Patrol. The song (written by Blair Daly, James Michael & Meghan Shahnaz Kabir) performed by actor Matt Bomer is now available as a digital single on Amazon. Also listen to the full track after the jump. Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘Lunatics’ to Be Released
Australian Broadcasting Corp (ABC) will release a soundtrack album for the Australian Netflix original series Lunatics. The album features the songs from first season of the show written by Chris Lilley. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 5 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Lunatics is created by Lilley (Summer Heights High, Ja’mie: Private School Girl) and follows the peculiar lives of six eccentric – and sometimes obscene – misfits (all played by Lilley) who march to their own beat. The first season of the mockumentary series produced by Lilley & Laura Waters premiered this past April and is now available to stream on Netflix.
Rob Scoring Rebecca Zlotowski’s ‘Savages’ (‘Les Sauvages’) TV Series
Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Revenge, Horns, Troy: Fall of a City) is the composer of the upcoming French TV series Savages (Les Sauvages). The show is directed by Rebecca Zlotowski and stars Roschdy Zem, Dali Benssalah, Souheila Yacoub, Marina Foïs, Amira Casar, Romain Levi, Lyna Khoudri and Sofiane Zermani. The drama is based on the novels of the same title by Sabri Louatah and is being described as a family saga set against a backdrop of politics and social tensions in contemporary France.
Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘Dark’ Announced
Lakeshore Records and Invada Records will release the first soundtrack album for the German Netflix original series Dark. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Ben Frost (Super Dark Times, Sleeping Beauty, Fortitude, The Deep). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 28 and will be available to download here. CD and vinyl versions are also in the works and a second album featuring the composer’s score from Season will be released next month. Dark is created by Baran bo Odar & Jantje Friese and tells the story of a missing child who sets four families on a frantic hunt for answers as they unearth a mind-bending mystery that spans three generations.
