Lakeshore Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Truth Be Told. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by John Paesano (Daredevil, The Maze Runner, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, The Defenders, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Invincible, The Star). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 in 2019. Season 2 of Truth Be Told created by Nichelle Tramble Spellman based on Kathleen Barber’s novel Are You Sleeping follows podcaster Poppy Parnell as she has a new case she would like you to reconsider when her childhood friend and media mogul (played by Kate Hudson) finds herself embroiled in tragedy and scandal.

Walt Disney Records has released a first soundtrack EP for the Disney Channel animated series The Ghost and Molly McGee. The EP features the main title theme written by series composer Michael Kramer (He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu), Allie Feder, series creators Bill Motz & Bob Roth, as well as four tracks written by Rob Cantor (T.O.T.S.) and performed by voice cast members Ashly Burch, Dana Snyder and Kelsey Grammer. Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for the Disney+ animated special LEGO Star Wars: Terrifying Tales. The album features the original music from the Halloween special composed by Michael Kramer (He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, Rhyme Time Town, Valley of Bones). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 1 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. LEGO Star Wars: Terrifying Tales is written by David Shayne, directed by Ken Cunningham and stars Jake Green, Raphael Alejandro, Dana Snyder, Tony Hale, Christian Slater, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, as well as Trevor Devall as Emperor Palpatine and Matt Sloan as Darth Vader.
Jeff Cardoni Scoring HBO Max’s ‘Ten Year Old Tom’
Jeff Cardoni (Silicon Valley, Heels, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, Turner & Hooch, The Kominsky Method) is the composer of the new HBO Max adult animated series Ten Year Old Tom. The show is created and written by Steve Dildarian (The Life & Times of Tim) who also lends his voice to the title character. Also starring are Byron Bowers, Todd Glass, Gillian Jacobs, Edi Patterson and John Malkovich, as well as David Duchovny, Jennifer Coolidge, Natasha Lyonne, Tim Robinson, Mark Proksch & George Wallace who are making guest appearances. The animated comedy follows the misadventures of an average kid as he contends with questionable guidance from the well-meaning grownups around him.

Lakeshore Records will release the first soundtrack album for the Paramount+ animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Chris Westlake (Solar Opposites, Castle Rock, Before We Go, Small Town Crimes, Transit). The Vol. 1 soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, October 8 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon and Apple Music/iTunes. Star Trek: Lower Decks is developed by Mike McMahan and features the voice talent of Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid, Noël Wells, Dawnn Lewis, Eugene Cordero, Jerry O’Connell, Fred Tatasciore and Gillian Vigman. The animated comedy centers on the support crew serving on the U.S.S. Cerritos, one of Starfleet’s least important ships, in 2380.
‘What If… Ultron Won?’ Soundtrack Album Details
The details of the eighth soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Disney+ animated series What If…? have been revealed. The album features the original music from the eighth episode (What If… Ultron Won?) of the show composed by Emmy Award winner Laura Karpman (Lovecraft Country, Set It Up, Paris Can Wait, Black Nativity, Step, Underground, Why We Hate). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 1 by Hollywood Records and Marvel Music and will be available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Composer, pianist and singer/songwriter Emily Bear (The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical) has written the original score for the fourth episode of the FX on Hulu anthology series The Premise. The Commenter is written Jia Tolentino & series creator B.J. Novak, directed by Darya Zhuk and stars Lola Kirke, Soko, Sylvia Grace Crim and Benjamin Clement. The episode follows a young woman with a happy life and loving partner who becomes obsessed with a critical anonymous comment online, eventually upending her life in a quest for the commenter’s approval.

Jeff Cardoni (Silicon Valley, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, The Kominsky Method,, Turner & Hooch) is scoring the new CBS comedy Ghosts. The show is developed by Joe Port & Joe Wiseman based on the BBC series of the same title and stars Rose McIver, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Brandon Scott Jones, Richie Moriarty, Danielle Pinnock, Asher Grodman, Román Zaragoza, Sheila Carrasco, Rebecca Wisocky and Devan Chandler Long. The series revolves around a cheerful freelance journalist and up-and-coming chef who throw both caution and money to the wind when they decide to convert a rundown country estate they inherited into a bed & breakfast – only to find it’s inhabited by the many spirits of deceased residents who now call it home.
