Filmtonträger has released a soundtrack album for the German Netflix limited series The Billion Dollar Code. Bo Boddie Scoring Apple TV+’s ‘Acapulco’
Bo Boddie (GLOW, Fresh Off the Boat, Lady of the Manor) is the composer of the new Apple TV+ original series Acapulco. The show is created by Austin Winsberg (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Jake in Progress), Eduardo Cisneros (Half Brothers) & Jason Shuman (Darkness Falls, Bangkok Dangerous) inspired by the 2017 feature How to Be a Latin Lover and stars Eugenio Derbez Enrique Arrizon, Fernando Carsa, Camila Perez, Damián Alcázar, Chord Overstreet, Regina Reynoso, Vanessa Bauche, Raphael Alejandro, Jessica Collins, Regina Orozco, Rafael Cebrián and Carlos Corona. The comedy is set in 1984 and tells the story of a twenty-something man whose dream comes true when he gets the job of a lifetime as a cabana boy at the hottest resort in Acapulco and soon realizes the job is far more complicated than he ever imagined.
‘Animal Kingdom’ Season 5 Soundtrack Album Released
WaterTower Music has released a new soundtrack album for the TNT original series Animal Kingdom. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fifth season composed by Alexis Marsh & Samuel Jones (Equity, We’ll Never Have Paris, Next Gen, Lila & Eve). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the composers’ score from the first four seasons, as well as the main title theme Big Love earlier this year. Animal Kingdom is developed by Jonathan Lisco based on David Michod’s feature of the same name and Shawn Hatosy, Finn Cole, Jake Weary, and Ben Robson, Jon Beavers and Rigo Sanchez.

Soundtrack EP for NBC’s ‘Ordinary Joe’ Released

The 4-track EP features four song from the first three episodes of the show performed by James Wolk who plays the title character Joe Kimbreau, including two original songs (Soldier On & Landing) written by Sam Hollander & Josh Edmonson and covers of James Taylor’s Fire and Rain and Bright Eyes’ First Day of My Life. John M. Keane Scoring CBS’ ‘CSI: Vegas’
John M. Keane (The Amazing Race, Another Way to Die, Martial Law) is returning as the composer for the new CBS drama CSI: Vegas. The show is created by Jason Tracey (Elementary, Burn Notice) and stars William Petersen & Jorja Fox (who are reprising their roles from CSI: Crime Scene Investigation), as well as Paula Newsome, Matt Lauria, Mandeep Dhillon and Mel Rodriguez. The series follows a brilliant new team of investigators who must enlist the help of old friends when an existential threatens to bring down the entire Crime Lab and release thousands of convicted killers back onto the neon-lit streets of Vegas.
Daniel Rojas Scoring Hulu’s ‘Marvel’s Hit-Monkey’
Daniel Rojas (Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts) has been tapped to score the upcoming Hulu animated series Marvel’s Hit-Monkey. The show is created by Josh Gordon & Will Speck (Blades of Glory, Office Christmas Party, The Switch) based on the Marvel Comics characters and features the voices of Fred Tatasciore, Jason Sudeikis, George Takei, Ally Maki, Nobi Nakanishi and Olivia Munn. The series follows a Japanese snow monkey who joins forces with the ghost of an American assassin after his tribe is slaughtered, and together, they begin killing their way through the Yakuza underworld.

All3Media has released a soundtrack album for the British Amazon original series The Feed. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Jon Opstad (Black Mirror, The Woman in White, We Hunt Together, Silent Witness, Safe House). The Feed is created by Channing Powell based on Nick Clark Windor’s novel of the same title and stars Guy Burnet, Nina Toussaint-White, Michelle Fairley and David Thewlis. The sci-fi drama is set in a near future where high-tech implants allow human brains to have direct connections to the internet.

Premiering on Wednesday, October 6, is the Netflix original film There’s Someone Inside Your House directed by Patrick Brice and starring Sydney Park, Théodore Pellerin, Dale Whibley, Asjha Cooper, Diego Josef, Jesse LaTourette, Burkely Duffield, William MacDonald, Sarah Dugdale, Andrew Dunbar and Markian Tarasiuk. The movie’s original music is composed by Zachary Dawes (Big Time Adolescence, The Peanut Butter Falcon, Deep Murder, Generation). The horror thriller, which follows a teenager and her friends at Osborne High School as they try to identify and stop a masked killer who’s targeting students and exposing their biggest secrets, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
Also premiering on Wednesday is the Disney+ docuseries Among the Stars directed by Ben Turner and executive producer by himself, Gabe Turner, Leo Pearlman, Will Gluck and Richard Schwartz. Colin Stetson (Hereditary, Color Out of Space, Mayday, The First, Barkskins, Blue Caprice) has composed the show’s original music. The Fulwell 73 production presented by Disney Branded Television follows Captain Chris Cassidy on a quest to get back in his spacesuit for one last mission that risks life, limb and reputation for the greater good of humankind. This 6-part series will be available to stream on Disney+.
Ian Hultquist Scoring Peacock’s ‘One of Us Is Lying’
Ian Hultquist (Assassination Nation, Good Girls, Animals, My Blind Brother, A.X.L, Die in a Gunfight) is composing the original music for the new Peacock original series One of Us Is Lying. The show is based on Karen M. McManus’ best-selling novel of the same title and stars Annalisa Cochrane, Chibuikem Uche, Marianly Tejada, Barrett Carnahan, Cooper van Grootel, Mark McKenna, Melissa Collazo and Jessica McLeod. The drama tells the story of what happens when five high schoolers walk into detention and only four make it out alive.
