Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the dramatic thriller Pig. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alexis Grapsas (Monday, Trigonemetry, Big Shot, Teacher) and Philip Klein (The Last Full Measure, Wish Dragon). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out audio samples. Pig is written and directed by Michael Sarnoski and stars Nicolas Cage and Alex Wolff. The movie centers on a truffle hunter who lives alone in the Oregonian wilderness and must return to his past in Portland in search of his beloved pig after she is kidnapped.

Weekly Film Music Roundup (June 11, 2021)
Opening in theaters nationwide today (while also premiering on HBO Max) is the film adaptation of the stage musical In the Heights directed by Jon M. Chu and starring Anthony Ramos, Leslie Grace, Marc Anthony Corey Hawkins, Melissa Barrera, Olga Merediz, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Stephanie Beatriz, Gregory Diaz IV, Dascha Polanco and Jimmy Smits. Atlantic Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie written by Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton), including a new original song composed for the film. Also opening wide is the family comedy Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway co-written and directed by Will Gluck and starring Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson, David Oyelowo, Elizabeth Debicki, Margot Robbie and James Corden. The film’s original score is composed by Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, DuckTales, Money Monster, Free Birds, My Spy, The King’s Man). ‘Wish Dragon’ Soundtrack Album Details
Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the animated feature Wish Dragon. The album features the film’s original score composed by Philip Klein (The Last Full Measure, Growing Up and Other Lies). Also included are the songs Endless Sky performed by Kenton Chen, Katherine Ho & Weilim Lin and Free Smiles by Tia Ray. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, June 11 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Wish Dragon is directed by Chris Appelhans and features the voice talent of Jackie Chan, John Cho, Constance Wu, Will Yun Lee, Bobby Lee, Jimmy O. Yang, Ian Chen and Jimmy Wong. The Sony Pictures Animation production tells the story of a determined teen who is longing to reconnect with his childhood best friend when he meets a wish-granting dragon who shows him the magic of possibilities.

‘The Last Full Measure’ Soundtrack Details
Filmtrax will release a soundtrack album for the drama The Last Full Measure. The album features the film’s original music composed by Philip Klein (Wish Dragon, Growing Up and Other Lies). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 24 and will be available to stream and download on Amazon. The Last Full Measure is written and directed by Todd Robinson and stars Sebastian Stan, Christopher Plummer, William Hurt, Ed Harris and Samuel L. Jackson. The movie tells the true story of Vietnam War hero William H. Pitsenbarger, a USAF Pararescue medic who saved over sixty men in the U.S. Army’s 1st Infantry Division before making the ultimate sacrifice in one of the bloodiest battles of the war.
Philip Klein Scoring Todd Robinson’s ‘The Last Full Measure’
Philip Klein is composing the music for the upcoming political drama The Last Full Measure. The film is written and directed by Todd Robinson (White Squall, Phantom) and stars Sebastian Stan, Christopher Plummer, William Hurt, Samuel L. Jackson, Grant Gustin, Bradley Whitford, Michael Imperioli and Linus Roache. The movie follows a young Pentagon investigator who reluctantly teams with veterans of the 1966 Operation Abilene to convince Congress to award the Medal of Honor to a courageous Air Force medic who is seen saving the lives of over 60 Marines ambushed during the Vietnam War.

Expected to top the weekend box office is the second part in the Divergent series, Insurgent directed by Robert Schwentke and starring Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Octavia Spencer, Jai Courtney, Ray Stevenson, Zoë Kravitz, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q, Naomi Watts and Kate Winslet. Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Earth to Echo) has composed the film’s original score. Interscope Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the film by such artists as M83 feat. Haim, Imagine Dragons, Royal Blood, Woodkid feat. Lykke Li, Anna Calvi, SOHN and Zella Day, as well as a score suite. Click here for the full details. iZLER to Score ‘Growing Up and Other Lies’
iZLER has been tapped to score the upcoming indie drama Growing Up and Other Lies. The film is directed by Danny Jacobs and Darren Grodsky and stars Adam Brody, Wyatt Cenac, Amber Tamblyn, Josh Lawson, Lauren Miller and Jacobs himself. The movie follows a 30-year-old man who recruits his three oldest friends to help him retrace their greatest adventure: walking the entire, 260-block length of the island of Manhattan in one day. Nicole Lederman, Katie Mustard and Jason Weiss are producing the project. iZLER has previously scored Jacobs’ and 2008 feature Humboldt County. Growing Up and Other Lies was shot on location in New York City this past fall and is expected to premiere later this year.
