Walt Disney Records has released the last soundtrack album for Lucasfilm’s animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s final four episodes composed by Kevin Kiner (Star Wars Rebels,Narcos: Mexico, Doom Patrol, Titans, CSI: Miami, Making a Murderer). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon Music, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released a soundtrack album featuring selections of Kiner’s score from the show’s first six seasons and two albums featuring the composer’s music from the first eight episodes of the final season. The full details of the second soundtrack album for the final season of Lucasfilm’s animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth episode from Season 7 composed by Kevin Kiner (Star Wars Rebels, Doom Patrol, CSI: Miami, Narcos: Mexico, Titans, Making a Murderer). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 10 by Walt Disney Records and will be available to stream/download here. The label has previously released, a soundtrack album featuring selections of Kiner’s score from the show’s first six seasons and another album featuring the composer’s music from the first four episodes of the final season. A final soundtrack featuring Kiner’s score from the last four episodes is set to come out on May 4.

World Premiere Soundtrack Release for Alex Winter’s & Tom Stern’s ‘Freaked’ Announced
Death Waltz Recording Company has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1993 cult sci-fi comedy Freaked directed by Alex Winter & Tom Stern and starring Winter himelf, alongside Randy Quaid, William Sadler, Megan Ward, Michael Stoyanov, Bobcat Goldthwait, Mr. T and Brooke Shields. The album features the songs from the film by Butthole Surfers, Blind Idiot God, Henry Rollins, Axiom Funk, Iggy Pop, among others on the first disc and the original score composed by Kevin Kiner (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, Narcos: Mexico, Doom Patrol) on the second disc. Kevin Kiner Scoring Showtime’s ‘City on a Hill’
Kevin Kiner (CSI: Miami, Star Wars Rebels, Hell on Wheels, Wing Commander, Jane the Virgin) is the composer of the new Showtime original series City on a Hill. The show is created by Chuck MacLean based on an original idea by Ben Affleck and stars Kevin Bacon, Aldis Hodge, Jonathan Tucker, Mark O’Brien, Lauren E. Banks, Amanda Clayton, Jere Shea, Kevin Chapman and Jill Hennessy. The drama is set in Boston in the early 90s and centers on the relationship between an anti-corruption crusader assistant DA and a lauded FBI agent who is skirting the law at every turn.

Premiering on Friday, February 22 is the Netflix original movie Paddleton co-written and directed by Alex Lehmann and starring Mark Duplass, Ray Romano, Ravi Patel and Christine Woods. Diego Navarro (Capture the Flag, Mimesis) has composed the film’s original music. Rosetta Records has released a soundtrack album last fall when the movie opened overseas. Clint Mansell & Kevin Kiner Scoring DC Universe’s ‘Doom Patrol’
Clint Mansell (Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan, Moon, The Fountain) and Kevin Kiner (Star Wars Rebels, Narcos: Mexico, Star Wars: The Clone Wars) are the composers of the new DC Universe original series Doom Patrol. The show is developed by Jeremy Carver (Supernatural) based on the DC comics created by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney & Bruno Premiani and stars Matt Bomer, Brendan Fraser, April Bowlby, Diane Guerrero, Joivan Wade, Alan Tudyk and Timothy Dalton. The drama follows a group of outcast Super Heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief).

Premiering tomorrow, November 12, is the second season of the National Geographic original series Mars created by Ben Young Mason & Justin Wilkes and starring JiHAE, Alberto Ammann, Clémentine Poidatz, Esai Morales and Jeff Hephner. The show’s original music is composed by Brian Reitzell (Friday Night Lights, Hannibal, American Gods, Boss) who is taking over scoring duties from Nick Cave & Warren Ellis who scored the drama’s first season. Premiering on Tuesday, November 13 is DreamWorks Animation Television’s new series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power developed by Noelle Stevenson based on the classic 1980s show and starring Aimee Carrero, Karen Fukuhara, AJ Michalka, Marcus Scribner, Reshma Shetty and Lorraine Toussaint. Sunna Wehrmeijer (Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz) is the show’s composer. The show, which revolves around soldier Adora as she finds a magic sword – and her identity as legendary hero She-Ra, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
