Oona Recordings has released a soundtrack album for the documentary I Am Greta. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rebekka Karijord (Pray, Obey, Kill) & Jon Ekstrand (Morbius, Life, Easy Money, Child 44). The soundtrack is now available in several European territories and will be released in the U.S. on November 13 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music stores. I Am Greta is directed by Nathan Grossman and documents Greta Thunberg’s meteoric one-year rise from high-school climate strike organizer to inspiration for a global movement. The movie is told through never-before-seen footage, starting with her one-person school strike for climate action outside the Swedish Parliament.

‘Bad Hair’ Soundtrack Album Details
Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the horror satire Bad Hair. The album features the film’s original score composed by Kris Bowers (Green Book, Dear White People, When They See Us, Mrs. America), as well as the original songs from the film by director Justin Simien & actress Kelly Rowland (who stars in the movie as pop star Sandra). Bad Hair is written and directed by Simien and stars Elle Lorraine, Vanessa Williams, Lena Waithe, Laverne Cox, Jay Pharoah, Blair Underwood, James Van Der Beek and Usher Raymond. The movie follows an ambitious young woman whose flourishing career comes at a great cost when she realizes that her new hair may have a mind of its own.
Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans Scoring Hulu’s ‘Helstrom’
Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Ozark, Boy Erased, The Gift, Enemy, The Outsider, The Devil All the Time) are the composers of Marvel’s new Hulu original series Helstrom. The show is created by Paul Zbyszewski (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) based on the Marvel Comics property and stars Tom Austen, Sydney Lemmon, Elizabeth Marvel, Ariana Guerra, Robert Wisdom and June Carryl. The drama follows siblings and supposed serial killer offspring Daimon & Ana Helstrom and their complicated dynamic, as they track down the worst of humanity — each with their own attitude and skills.
Joel J. Richard & Tyler Bates Scoring Hulu’s ‘Books of Blood’
Joel J. Richard & Tyler Bates (John Wick series) have teamed up to score the new Hulu original film Books of Blood. The movie is co-written and directed by Brannon Braga (Star Trek: Enterprise, Terra Nova, Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey) based on Clive Barker’s horror anthology book series and stars Britt Robertson, Rafi Gavron, Anna Friel, Yul Vazquez and Freda Foh Shen. The movie follows a journey into uncharted territory through three tales tangled in space and time. Braga and Barker (Hellraiser, Candyman) are also executive producing the Fox 21 and Fuzzy Door production Seth MacFarlane (Ted, Family Guy, The Orville), Erica Huggins (The Dark Tower, Get on Up), Alana Kleiman, Brian Witten (Creepshow, Chernobyl Diaries), Jeff Kwatinetz (Royal Pains), Josh Barry (I Am Not Okay with This) and Adam Simon (The Haunting in Connecticut).
Daniel Rojas to Score Hulu’s Animated Marvel Series ‘M.O.D.O.K.’
Daniel Rojas (Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts) has been tapped to score Marvel’s upcoming Hulu stop-motion animated series M.O.D.O.K. The show is developed by Pattton Oswalt & Jordan Blum (American Dad) based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name and features the voices of Oswalt himself, Aimee Garcia, Melissa Fumero, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ben Schwartz, Beck Bennett, Jon Daly and Sam Richardson. The animated comedy follows the title character, an egomaniacal Super Villain with a really big head and a really little body, as he struggles to maintain control of his evil organization and his demanding family.

Premiering tonight is the Showtime mini-series The Comey Rule written and directed by Billy Ray and starring Jeff Daniels, Brendan Gleeson, Holly Hunter, Michael Kelly, Jennifer Ehle, Jonathan Banks, Scoot McNairy, Oona Chaplin, Steven Pasquale, Peter Coyote, Amy Seimetz and Kingsley Ben-Adir. Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain, Babel, The Motorcycle Diaries, The Book of Life) has recently scored the upcoming Hulu horror anthology series Monsterland. The show is created by Mary Laws (The Neon Demon) based on the collection of stories from Nathan Ballingrud’s North American Lake Monsters and stars Kaitlyn Dever, Taylor Schilling, Mike Colter, Kelly Marie Tran, Jonathan Tucker, Nicole Beharie, Adepero Oduye, Roberta Colindrez, Charlie Tahan and Hamish Linklater. The drama follows a group of broken people driven to desperate acts in an attempt to repair their lives and will feature encounters with mermaids, fallen angels, and a variety of other mythical creatures and horrors.

Premiering tomorrow, September 7 is DreamWorks Animation’s new TV series Madagascar: A Little Wild executive produced by Johanna Stein & Dana Starfield and starring Tucker Chandler, Amir O’Neil, Shaylin Becton, Luke Lowe, Jasmine Gatewood and Eric Petersen. Frederik Wiedmann (The Dragon Prince, The Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Hangman) who has previously scored DreamWorks Animation TV’s All Hail King Julien is composing the show’s original music. The series, which follows young versions of Alex, Marty, Gloria & Melman from the Madagascar franchise, as they grow up in New York City, will be available to stream on Hulu and Peacock.
‘The Binge’ Soundtrack Album Released
American High Records has released a soundtrack album for the Hulu original film The Binge. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Matt Bowen (Best. Worst. Weekend. Ever). Also included is the original song Higher co-written by Bowen & Christopher Lennertz (Lost in Space, Sausage Party, The Boys, Horrible Bosses), featuring lyrics by the composers, as well as screenwriter Jordan VanDina and director Jeremy Garelick, and performed by the film’s cast. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here. The Binge is directed by Garelick and stars Skyler Gisondo, Eduardo Franco, Dexter Darden, Vince Vaughn, Hayes MacArthur, Affion Crockett and Grace Van Dien.
