Premiering tonight is the HBO original documentary series The Yogurt Shop Murders directed by Margaret Brown about the tragic murder of four teenage girls at an I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt Shop on December 6, 1991 in Austin, TX. The show’s original music is composed by Claudia Sarne (The Book of Eli, Shining Girls, Triple 9, Broken City, Earthquake Bird, Dispatches from Elsewhere). Check out our previous news article to learn more about the 4-parter, which premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and will air every Sunday on HBO and also will be available to stream on HBO Max.

Premiering on Wednesday, August 6, is the action comedy The Pickup directed by Tim Story and starring Eddie Murphy, Keke Palmer, Pete Davidson, Eva Longoria, Andrew Dice Clay, Jack Kesy, Marshawn Lynch and Ismael Cruz Cordova. Christopher Lennertz (The Boys, Lost in Space, Ride Along, Sausage Party, Tom & Jerry, Agent Carter, Back in Action, Supernatural) has composed the film’s original music. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original film Back in Action. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Christopher Lennertz (The Boys, Lost in Space, Sausage Party, Tom & Jerry, Ride Along, Supernatural, Agent Carter). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Birthday Crashers) after the jump. Back in Action is directed by Seth Gordon and stars Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz, Kyle Chandler, Glenn Close, Andrew Scott, Jamie Demetriou, McKenna Roberts and Rylan Jackson. The action comedy follows a couple who gave up their life as CIA spies to start a family, when they get dragged back into the world of espionage and their cover is blown.

Premiering in the U.S. on Wednesday, January 15, is the Spanish limited series Cristóbal Balenciaga created by Lourdes Iglesias, Aitor Arregi, Jon Garaño & Jose Mari Goenag and starring Alberto San Juan, Belén Cuesta, Josean Bengoetxea, Cecilia Solaguren, Adam Quintero, Gemma Whelan, Gabrielle Lazure, Thomas Coumans, Anouk Grinberg, Patrice Thibaud, Nine d’Urso and Anna-Victoire Olivier. The show’s original music is composed by Alberto Iglesias (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Volver, The Constant Gardener, The Kite Runner, The Skin I Live In, The Room Next Door). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last January when the series premiered overseas on Disney+. Also premiering on Wednesday is the Italian Netflix original series Public Disorder (ACAB) created by Filippo Gravino based on Carlo Bonini’s novel ACAB – All Cops Are Bastards and starring Marco Giallini, Adriano Giannini, Valentina Bellè, Pierluigi Gigante, Fabrizio Nardi, Donatella Finocchiaro, Chiara Muscato, Daniele Natali, Federico Mainardi and Flavia Leone. Mokadelic (Citadel: Diana, Gomorrah, Django, Romulus, The Immortal) have composed the show’s original music. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer collective’s score this past Friday. The film is directed by Tim Story (Fantastic Four, Barbershop) and stars Eddie Murphy, Keke Palmer, Pete Davidson, Andrew Dice Clay, Eva Longoria, Jack Kesy, Ismael Cruz Cordova, and Marshawn Lynch. No plot details have been announced yet. Matt Mider & Kevin Burrows (The Package) wrote the screenplay.

Madison Gate Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Prime Video original series The Boys. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s fourth season composed by Christopher Lennertz (Lost in Space, Sausage Party, Agent Carter, Horrible Bosses, Ride Along) & Matt Bowen (Gen V, The Binge, Best.Worst.Weekend.Ever.). Also included are the new season’s original songs: Let’s Put the Christ Back in Christmas (previously released as a digital single) and See Something Say Something (listen to the track below). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released three albums featuring Lennertz’s music from Season 1, Season 2 & Season 3.

Premiering on Wednesday, July 10, is the Apple TV+ original series Sunny developed by Katie Robbins based on Colin O’Sullivan’s book The Dark Manual an starring Rashida Jones, Hidetoshi Nishijima, Joanna Sotomura, Judy Ongg, YOU, annie the clumsy and Jun Kunimura. The show’s original music is composed by Daniel Hart (The Green Knight, Pete’s Dragon, The Old Man and the Gun, Interview with the Vampire, A Ghost Story, Peter Pan & Wendy, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints). Also premiering on Wednesday is the HBO original documentary Quad Gods directed by Jess Jacklin, produced by Johnny Fego & Jacklin and executive produced by Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady. Gary Gunn (A Thousand and One) has composed the film’s original music. The movie, which follows the lives of three New Yorkers with quadriplegia that meet in a neuro-rehabilitation lab where they create the world’s first fully quadriplegic e-sports team, premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and will air on HBO and will also be available to stream on Max.

Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album for the Disney+ original movie Dashing Through the Snow. The album features the film’s original score composed by Christopher Lennertz (The Boys, Sausage Party, Lost in Space, Agent Carter, Horrible Bosses, Tom & Jerry, Supernatural). Also included is the original song Santa You’re Alright co-written (with Mischa Chillak) and performed by C.S. Armstrong and The Ton3s’s rendition of Jingle Bell Rock . Making its linear debut tonight is the Showtime original series The Curse created by Benny Safdie & Nathan Fielder and starring Emma Stone, Fielder and Safdie. The show’s original music is composed John Medeski and executive produced by Daniel Lopatin (Uncut Gems, Good Time). Milan Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the score this coming Friday, November 17. Check out our soundtrack announcment for the full album details, to listen to a first track and to learn more about the project. The comedy premiered this past Friday on Paramount+ with Showtime and will air every Sunday night on Showtime.

Also premiering today is the MGM+ original series Beacon 23 created by Zak Penn based on Hugh Howey’s best-selling book and starring Lean Headey and Stephan James. William Marriott has composed the show’s original score. Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Pacific Rim, Westworld, Iron Man, House of the Dragon, Eternals) has contributed the theme and also serves as the project’s music producer.
