The album features the movie’s original music composed by Christopher Lennertz (The Boys, Lost in Space, Sausage Party, Tom & Jerry, Ride Along, Supernatural, Agent Carter). The full details of the score album for the action comedy Baywatch have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christopher Lennertz (Horrible Bosses, Sausage Party, Ride Along, Identity Thief, Supernatural). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 26 by Paramount Music and is now available for pre-order here. A limited edition physical release is set to be released next month by La-La Land Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. As previously reported, Island Records has released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the film. Baywatch directed by Seth Gordon and starring Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, Jon Bass and David Hasselhoff is being released in theaters nationwide today by Paramount Pictures.

Christopher Lennertz to Score Seth Gordon’s ‘Baywatch’
Christopher Lennertz is officially set to compose the original score for the upcoming action comedy Baywatch. The film is directed by Seth Gordon (The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters, Four Christmases) and stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, Jon Bass, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson. The movie is based on the hit TV series, which premiered in 1989 and follows two unlikely prospective lifeguards who vie for jobs alongside the buff bodies who patrol a beach in California. Damian Shannon and Mark Swift (Freddy vs. Jason) have written the final version of the screenplay.
‘Identity Thief’ Soundtrack Announced
La-La Land Records will release the official soundtrack album for Seth Gordon’s new crime comedy Identity Thief. The album features the film’s score composed by Christopher Lennertz (Hop, Revolution) who previously scored the director’s previous movie Horrible Bosses. The composer reteamed with several musicians from his last score for Gordon, including Jane’s Addiction bassist Chris Chaney, Earth, Wind and Fire keyboardist and music director Myron McKinley and Beastie Boys keyboardist Money Mark. Lennertz also recorded with a full orchestra at the Warner Bros. Eastwood Scoring Stage in Los Angeles. The CD version will be released on March 5, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Details on the digital release, as well as the full track list and audio clips will be posted on this site within the next couple of weeks.
Christopher Lennertz to Score Seth Gordon’s ‘Identity Thief’ and Eric Kripke’s & J.J. Abrams’ ‘Revolution’
Christopher Lennertz has signed on to score the upcoming action comedy Identity Thief (aka Identity Theft). The movie is directed by Seth Gordon who previously collaborated with the composer on last summer’s comedy hit Horrible Bosses. Identity Thief stars Melissa McCarthy who steals the identity of a man played by Jason Bateman. Steven Conrad (The Pursuit of Happyness, The Weather Man) has written the script and Craig Mazin (The Hangover II) is performing a rewrite. Bateman is also producing the film with Scott Stuber (Safe House, Role Models) and Peter Morgan (The Queen, Frost/Nixon) is executive producing. Universal Pictures has scheduled the comedy for a release on May 10, 2013.
Michael Wandmacher Scoring ‘Breaking In’
Michael Wandmacher is writing the music for the upcoming TV workplace comedy Breaking In. The show starring Christian Slater, Odette Yustman, Jareb Dauplaise, Jennifer Irwin, Trevor Moore, Michael Rosenbaum, Bret Harrison and Alphonso McAuley centers around an eclectic team of twentysomething geniuses who work at a high tech security firm and who are assigned to break into computer security systems. Breaking In is produced by Adam F. Goldberg and Seth Gordon. Gordon who is best known for his feature projects The King of Kong, Four Christmases and the upcoming comedy Horrible Bosses also directed the pilot.
