Sony Music Latin has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish Amazon limited series Operación Marea Negra. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Carlos Jean (Sky High, The Absent, Warriors). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Operación Marea Negra is written by Patxi Amezcua & Patxi Amezcua and stars Álex González, Nerea Barros, Nuno Lopes, Miquel Insua, and Luis Zahera. The 4-part drama is based on a true story and follows three companions as they attempt to cross the Atlantic in a homemade submarine loaded with more than 3,000 kilos of cocaine.

Composer Lineup of Amazon’s ‘The Boys Presents: Diabolical’ Announced
The full composer lineup of the new Amazon animated anthology series The Boys Presents: Diabolical has been revealed. Christopher Lennertz (who is scoring streamer’s original live action The Boys series) & Matt Bowen (The Binge) have composed the music for the episodes I’m Your Pusher written by Garth Ennis and directed by Giancarlo Volpe and One Plus One Equals Two written by Simon Racioppa and directed by Volpe & Jae Kim. Steven & Julie Bernstein (Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain) have scored the classic American animated shorts- inspired episode Laser Baby’s Day Out written by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg. Ryan Elder (Rick & Morty) has composed the music for the Justin Roiland- & Ben Bayouth-scripted episode An Animated Short Where Pissed-Off Supes Kill Their Parents.

Premiering today is the first installment of the Showtime anthology series Super Pumped, entitled The Battle for Uber, based on the book of the same title by Mike Isaac and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kyle Chandler, Uma Thurman, Elisabeth Shue, Jon Bass, Kerry Bishé, Bridget Gao Hollitt and Babak Tafti. Redrocca has released a soundtrack album for the romantic comedy Book of Love. The album features the film’s original songs from the movie composed by Peter EJ Lee & Michael Knowles. The movie follows an unsuccessful English writer who discovers that his dull, failing novel has become a smashing success in Mexico, where a Spanish translator has rewritten it into a spicy erotic read.

Amazon Music has premiered the original song Finding You Backwards from the new Amazon original movie I Want You Back. The track is performed by Dawes frontman Taylor Goldsmith featuring Mandy Moore and co-written by Goldsmith and the film’s composer Siddhartha Khosla (This Is Us, Only Murders in the Building, Runaways, Queenpins).
