Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Amazon original animated series The Legend of Vox Machina. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Neal Acree (Stargate SG-1, World of Warcraft, Witchblade, StarCraft II, Overwatch, Diablo III). Also included are the songs from the series by Sam Riegel & Mr. Fantastic. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, January 28 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Legend of Vox Machina is based on the characters and adventures of Critical Role’s first livestreamed tabletop role-playing game (RPG) campaign and features the voices of Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Liam O’Brien, Ashley Johnson, Matthew Mercer, Marisha Ray, Riegel himself and Travis Willingham.

Rael Jones Scoring ‘Call My Agent!’ UK Remake
Rael Jones (Harlots, Suite Francaise, My Cousin Rachel, The Salisbury Poisonings, Kids in Love) is scoring the upcoming British adaptation of the French hit series Call My Agent. John Morton (Twenty Twelve) has written and directed the first two episodes of the show, which stars Jack Davenport, Chelsey Crisp, Lydia Leonard, Jim Broadbent, Maggie Steed, Prasanna Puwanarajah, Hiftu Quasem, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Harry Trevaldwyn, Rebecca Humphries, Tim McInnerny, Natasha Little, Edward Bluemel and Eleonore Arnaud. The comedy, which is set at a London talent agency where agents scramble to keep their business afloat after the sudden death of their founder, will also feature guest appearances by Kelly Macdonald, Helena Bonham Carter, Olivia Williams, Dominic West, Phoebe Dynevor, Jessica Oyelowo, David Oyelowo, among others.

David Schwartz Scoring Amy Poehler’s Amazon Documentary ‘Lucy and Desi’
David Schwartz (Arrested Development, Northern Exposure, The Good Place, Veep, Lady Dynamite, Standing Up, Falling Down) has composed the original music for the upcoming documentary Lucy and Desi. The film is directed by Amy Poehler and centers on the remarkable personal and professional partnership between comedian Lucille Ball and husband Desi Arnaz (also explored in Aaron Sorkin’s narrative feature Being the Ricardos). Poehler is also producing Imagine Documentarties production with Michael Rosenberg, Justin Wilkes (Mars, Julia), Nigel Sinclair (End of Watch, The Way Bakc) and Jeanne Elfant Festa & Mark Monroe (Pavarotti, The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart).

The show’s original score is composed by Amanda Jones (Naomi, Twenties, Good Trouble, Adventure Time: Distant Lands, Cherish the Day). The comedy, which centers on a true Kansan on the surface who struggles to fit the hometown mold, will air every Sunday night on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
Premiering on Tuesday, January 18, is the Hulu original series How I Met Your Father developed by Isaac Aptaker & Elizabeth Berger and starring Hilary Duff, Kim Cattrall, Francia Raisa, Chris Lowell, Suraj Sharma, Tom Ainsley and Tien Tran. Sony Music Latin & RCA Records have released the original end credits song Love Is Not Hard to Find from Sony Pictures Animation’s feature Hotel Transylvania: Transformania. The track co-written (with Morien van der Tang (aka Morgan Avenue), Faried Arween Jhauw, Glen Faria & Jheynner Argot) and performed by Dominican-Italian singer/songwriter Yendry is now available to stream/download as a digital single on all major digital platforms, including Amazon. The details of the soundtrack album for the animated sequel Hotel Transylvania: Transformania have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The LEGO Movie, The Royal Tenenbaums, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Mitchells vs. The Machines). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 14 by Sony Classical and will be available to stream/download here. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring selections of the composer’s scores from the first three installments in the animated franchise. Siddhartha Khosla (This Is Us, Runaways, Queenpins, Looking for Alaska) has composed the original score for the upcoming Amazon original movie I Want You Back. The film is directed by Jason Orley (Big Time Adolescence) and stars Charlie Day, Jenny Slate, Gina Rodriguez, Scott Eastwood, Manny Jacinto and Clark Backo. The romantic comedy follows two thirty-somethings who have been dumped by their respective partners and hatch a plan to win back their exes with unexpected results.
