Opening in theaters nationwide today is the supernatural horror sequel The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It directed by Michael Chaves and starring Patrick Wilson, Vera Farmiga, Ruairi O’Connor, Sarah Catherine Hook and Julian Hilliard. The film’s original score is composed by Joseph Bishara (The Conjuring, Insidious, Annabelle, The Curse of La Llorona, The Unholy). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music last week. Check out our previous news article for more information about the New Line Cinema production, which is being released by Warner Bros. Pictures and is also premiering on HBO Max today.
Also opening wide is the animated feature Spirit Untamed Isabela Merced, Eiza González, Julianne Moore, Jake Gyllenhaal, Andre Braugher, Walton Goggins, McKenna Grace and Marsai Martin. Amie Doherty (Happiest Season, The High Note, Undone, Battle at Big Rock, Here and Now) has composed the film’s original score. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as songs performed by the movie’s voice cast and Becky G last Friday. Walt Disney Records has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for Touchstone Pictures’ 1987 teen comedy Adventures in Babysitting directed by Chris Columbus and starring Elisabeth Shue, Keith Coogan, Anthony Rapp and Maia Brewton. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by Michael Kamen (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Die Hard, X-Men, Band of Brothers, Lethal Weapon), as well as the songs Babysitting Blues performed by Albert Collins, Shue, Maia Brewton, Coogan & Rapp and Just Can’t Stop by Percy Sledge.
