‘Dune’ Soundtrack Album Details

The full details of the soundtrack album for Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi epic Dune have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Gladiator, Inception, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lion King, Interstellar, Man of Steel). The soundtrack will be released (in both Standard and Dolby Atmos Music configurations) tomorrow, September 17 by WaterTower Music. and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. As previously announced, The Dune Sketchbook featuring extended musical explorations of the composer’s score was released earlier this month and a third album, The Art and Soul of Dune, the companion soundtrack to the book of the same title featuring music by Zimmer will be coming out on October 22. Dune starring Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin,  Stellan Skarsgård, Zendaya, Dave Bautista, Jason Momoa and Javier Bardem premiered earlier this month at the 2021 Venice Film Festival and is being released in several international territories this weekend before arriving in U.S. theaters and on HBO Max on October 22.

    I am assuming the CD will not be Atmos? And I was curious, on digital sites, it does not say the Sketchbook is in atmos. Is this just bundled in the file, or is there a special listing for it, if anyone knows?
