The Klan) has been hired to score the upcoming CW sci-fi drama 4400. The show is developed by Ariana Jackson based on USA’s original TV series The 4400 created by Scott Peters & Renee Echevarria and stars Brittany Adebumola, Joseph David-Jones, Ireon Roach, TL Thompson, Jaye Ladymore, Derrick A. King, Khailah Johnson, Cory Jeacoma, AMARR and Autumn Best. Singer/songwriter, rapper and composer Meshell Ndegeocello (Queen Sugar, Lackawanna Blues, Disappearing Acts) is scoring the new Fox drama Our Kind of People. The show is created by Karin Gist (Star) based on Lawrence Otis Graham’s book of the same title and stars Yaya DaCosta, Morris Chestnut, Joe Morton, Nadine Ellis, Lance Gross, Rhyon Nicole Brown, Kyle Bary and Alana Bright. Tree Adams (The 100, Californication, Perception, Belushi) is returning to the NCIS franchise as the composer of its fourth series NCIS: Hawai’i. The show is created by Matt Bosack, Jan Nash & Christopher Silber and stars Vanessa Lachey, Alex Tarrant, Noah Mills, Yasmine Al-Bustami, Jason Antoon, Tori Anderson and Kian Talan. The series folllows Special Agent in Charge of NCIS Pearl Harbor Jane Tennant, who, with her unwavering team of specialists, balances duty, family and country, while investigating crimes involving military personnel, national security and the mysteries of the sun-drenched island paradise. The film is directed by Robert Cullen & José Ucha, co-directed by Mark Fattibene and features the voice talent of Vanessa Hudgens, Kimiko Glenn, James Marsden, Sofia Carson, Liza Koshy, Ken Jeong, Elizabeth Perkins, Jane Krakowski, Michael McKean and Phil LaMarr. Premiering tonight is the PBS documentary Muhammad Ali directed and executive produced by Ken Burns, Sarah Burns & David McMahon about the iconic heavyweight boxing champion who became an inspiration to people everywhere. The film’s original music is composed by songwriter and hip hop record producer Jahlil Beats. A soundtrack album featuring the artist’s music has been released today. Premiering tomorrow, September 20 is the Fox comedy drama The Big Leap created by Liz Heldens and starring Scott Foley, Simone Recasner, Piper Perabo, Jon Rudnitsky, Ser’Darius Blain, Raymond Cham, Jr., Kevin Daniels, Mallory Jansen, Anna Grace Barlow and Teri Polo. Opening in theaters nationwide today is the drama Cry Macho directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Eastwood himself, Eduardo Minett, Natalia Traven, Fernanda Urrejola, Dwight Yoakam and Horacio Garcia-Rojas. The film’s original music is composed by Mark Mancina (Moana, TarzanBad Boys, SpeedTwisterAugust RushTraining Day).
