9 Story Media Group has released two soundtrack albums for the animated specials Angela’s Christmas and its sequel Angela’s Christmas Wish. The albums feature the original score from both films composed by Darren Hendley, as well as the songs from the Brown Bag Films production performed by Lucy O’ Connell (who stars in the title role), Brendan Mullins, Dolores O’Riordan, Lisa Hannigan and Allie Sherlock. Earlier this month, Volker Bertelmann (aka Hauschka) (Lion, Hotel Mumbai, Adrift, The Old Guard, Stowaway, Ammonite) has been recording his score for the upcoming German Netflix original film All Quiet on the Western Front. The movie is directed by Edward Berger and stars Felix Kammerer, Albrecht Schuch, Aaron Hilmer, Moritz Klaus, Edin Hasanovic, Daniel Brühl, Devid Striesow, Andreas Döhler, Adrian Grünewald and Sebastian Hülk. The drama is inspired by Erich Maria Remarque’s 1928 bestseller of the same name and follows three youngsters who voluntarily enlist in the German army and discover the soul-destroying horror of World War I as they arrive on the Western Front. Walt Disney Records has released the main title theme from Lucasfilm’s new Disney+ original series The Book of Boba Fett. The track written by Academy Award, Grammy and Emmy Award winner Ludwig Göransson (The Mandalorian, Black Panther, Creed, Tenet, Community, Venom) is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Nathan Johnson to Return for Rian Johnson’s ‘Knives Out 2’

Nathan Johnson has confirmed in a recent interview with Film Music Institute that he is returning to score the upcoming sequel Knives Out 2. The film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and stars Daniel Craig (who reprises his role as Benoit Blanc), as well as new cast members Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Leslie Odom Jr., Kathryn Hahn, Kate Hudson, Madelyn Cline and Jessica Henwick.
