The album features the film’s original music composed by Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Good Sam, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin). Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the drama The Son. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Dune, Inception, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Interstellar, Pirates of the Caribbean). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, November 18 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Son is co-written (with Christopher Hampton) and directed by Florian Zeller and stars Hugh Jackman, Laura Dern, Vanessa Kirby, Zen McGrath and Anthony Hopkins. Disney+ announced today that Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther, Creed, Tenet, Venom, Turning Red) has composed the original music for the new animated short Zen – Grogu and Dust Bunnies. The film is directed by Katsuya Kondo and produced by Lucasfilm and Japanese animation studio Studio Ghibli. Göransson has previously scored the first two seasons of Lucasfilm’s The Mandalorian, which introduced the character of Grogu/Baby Yoda and also contributed music to The Book of Boba Fett.
