BMG has released a soundtrack album for the mystery thriller The Tutor. The album features the film’s original score composed by Alexander Bornstein (Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, First to the Moon, Black Site Delta) and performed by the Budapest Art Orchestra. Also included are songs by Jude & the Strangers and Reagan Richards, as well as a piece from Georg Friedrich Handel’s opera Xerxes. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Tutor is directed by Jordan Ross and stars Garrett Hedlund, Noah Schnapp, Jonny Weston and Victoria Justice.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the action thriller John Wick: Chapter 4 directed by Chad Stahelski and starring Keanu Reeves, Donnie Yen, Rina Sawayama, Bill Skarsgård, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Laurence Fishburne and Ian McShane. The film’s original score is composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, 300, Deadpool 2, Watchmen) & Joel J. Richard (Quantico, Books of Blood). Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score, as well as two original songs by Sawayama and In This Moment & more. Alexandre Desplat (The Shape of Water, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The Queen, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Queen) has composed the film’s original music. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last fall when the movie opened in the UK. The movie follows an in-demand tutor who is assigned to instruct a billionaire’s son from their New York waterfront estate and finds himself battling his disturbed student’s obsessions that threaten to expose his darkest secrets.

Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Emma, The Phantom of the Open, Vita & Virginia, Roar, Munich: The Edge of War) has recently been scoring the upcoming thriller The Tutor. The film is directed by Alice Troughton (The Midwich Cuckoos) and stars Daryl McCormack, Julie Delpy and Richard E. Grant. The movie follows an aspiring and ambitious young author who takes a tutoring position at a legendary writer’s estate, when he realizes that he is engulfed in his hero’s complicated family legacy, which holds a deadly past and threatens his own future.
