Deadline is reporting that Geremy Jasper & Jason Binnick are writing original songs for an upcoming rock opera feature, entitled O’Dessa. The movie written and directed by Jasper will star Sadie Sink and is produced by Searchlight Pictures. The film is set in a post-apocalyptic future and revolves around a farm girl on an epic quest to recover a cherished family heirloom whose journey leads her to a strange and dangerous city where she meets her one true love. Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for the Disney+ original series National Treasure: Edge of History. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Trevor Rabin (Remember the TitansArmageddon, Con Air, Gone in 60 Seconds, Bad Boys 2) who previously scored both National Treasure features. Paul Linford (12 Monkeys) contributed additional music. Also included are several songs performed by lead actor Jake Austin Walker. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 18. Waxwork Records has released a soundtrack album for the psychological horror thriller Master. The album features the film’s original music composed by Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe (Candyman). Gaumont Animation has released a soundtrack album for the French animated series Bionic Max. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Maxime Singer & Anthony Burlot. The album features the film’s original music composed and orchestrated by Olivier Cussac (Terra WillyThe Jungle Bunch, Pil) and performed by the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France conducted by Dirk Brossé.
