The details of the second soundtrack album for DreamWorks Animation’s TV series Abominable and the Invisible City have been revealed. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by George Shaw (Escape the NightLittle Sorcerer). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 31 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released an album featuring the composer’s music from Season 1 last year. Abominable and the Invisible City is developed by Katherine Nolfi based on DreamWorks Animation’s 2019 feature Abominable and stars Chloe Bennet, Tenzing Trainor, Michelle Wong, Alan Cumming, Ethan Loh, Darin De Paul and Karen Huie. The album features the film’s original score composed by Alex Heffes (The Last King of Scotland, Queen of Katwe, Touching the Void, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, Roots, State of Play). Also included are the songs from the movie by artists such as Marcus Anderson, Maria Mendez, Rob Wilson, Miranda Martino & others. Netflix and UCP announced today that rock band Anamanaguchi (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game) and Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Shadow and Bone, The Witcher, Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman) will score an upcoming anime series based on Edgar Wright’s 2010 feature Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Anamanaguchi will also contribute original songs for the show, which will feature the voices of Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Satya Bhabha, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Brie Larson, Aubrey Plaza, Alison Pill, Brandon Routh, Jason Schwartzman, Johnny Simmons, Mark Webber, Mae Whitman and Ellen Wong who will all reprise their roles from the live-action film. Mercury Classics Soundtrack & Score will release the official soundtrack album for the fantasy adventure Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Black Widow, His Dark Materials, Top Gun: Maverick, Bad Boys for Life, Black Adam).  The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 31 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon most other major digital music platforms. Radiofandango has released a soundtrack album for the Italian horror feature Pantafa. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ratchev & Carratello (aka Stefano Ratchev & Mattia Carratello) (Padrenostro, Citizens of the World, The Salt of Life). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Pantafa is co-written and directed by Emanuele Scaringi and stars Kasia Smutniak, Greta Santi, Giuseppe Cederna, Mario Sgueglia and Betti Pedrazzi. The movie is inspired by an ancient Italian legend and follows a single mother who moves to a remote mountain village to try and solve her daughter’s sleep disorder, when the girl claims she is being attacked by the titular witch who sits on her chest to steal her breath. The full list of music cues featured in Ben Affleck’s biographical drama Air has been revealed. While the film doesn’t have a credited composer, Paul Haslinger (Underworld, Halt and Catch Fire, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter) appears to have contributed a few original music cues, credited in the end titles as I Want to Sign Him and Sneaker Anthem. The movie also features tracks from multiple 80s scores by the German electronic music group Tangerine Dream (which Haslinger was a member of in the late 80s), including Running Out of Time & Through the Dark/Run Across the Street from Miracle Mile, Shop Territory from Firestarter, Jerry’s Decision & To the Head of the Class from Three O’Clock HighLove on a Real Train from Risky Business and Breathing the Night Away from Heartbreakers.
