Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Time and Water. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dan Deacon (Task, Venom: The Last Dance, The Changeling, Hustle, Little Brother, Rez Ball, Ascension, Twixt, All Light, Everywhere, Strawberry Mansion, Wedding Season). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, August 7. The streaming/download link will be added to this page later this week. Time and Water is directed by Sara Dosa and centers on Icelandic poet and author Andri Snær Magnason who is facing the death of his country’s glaciers and the loss of his beloved grandparents as he constructs a time capsule to hold onto this moment and send it to the future, before everything he loves slips away. The documentary, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, was released in select theaters this past May and premiered last week on National Geographic and Disney+.
