French singer/songwriter Woodkid has contributed the main title theme to the new Peacock original series Those About to Die. The show is based on the nonfiction book of the same name by Daniel P. Mannix and stars Iwan Rheon, Anthony Hopkins, Sara Martins, Gabriella Pession, Jojo Macari, Dimitri Leonidas, Moe Hashim, Tom Hughes,Rupert Penry-Jones, Emilio Sakraya, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, David Wurawa, Eneko Sagardoy, Pepe Barroso, Gonçalo Almeida and Romana Maggiora Vergano. The 10-part historical drama directed by Roland Emmerich & Marco Kreuzpaintner is scored by Andrea Farri and follows a group of characters from all corners of the Roman Empire who collide at the explosive intersection of sports, politics, and dynasties. Amazon Content Services will release the official soundtrack album for the spy comedy sequel My Spy: The Eternal City. The album features the film’s original music composed by Sean Segal who has made his feature scoring debut on the project. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 18 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album for the Mexican Star+/Hulu original series UFO Factory (Fabricantes de Ovnis). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Sebastian Bell & Axel Ricco (Grandma’s Wedding, Who’s a Good Boy?, Two Plus Two). Pictures announced today that Isabella Summers (aka Isa Machine of Florence + the Machine) (Little Fires Everywhere, Lisa Frankenstein, Lady Chatterley’s Lover, The Offer, Physical) has been hired to score the upcoming animated musical Bad Fairies. Toby Marlow & Lucy Moss (best known for their work on the stage musical Six) are writing the original songs for the film directed by Megan Nicole Dong (Centaurworld).
