Categorical Records has released a soundtrack album for the new 4K restoration of the 1920 German horror classic The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari directed by Robert Wiene and and starring Werner Krauss, Conrad Veidt, Friedrich Feher, Hans Heinrich von Twardowski, Lil Dagover and Rudolf Lettinger. The album features the new score for the film composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Beal (House of Cards, Monk, Rome, Appaloosa, Pollock, The Biggest Little Farm, Carnivale) and performed by The Silver Nitrate Big Band and Fourth Wall Ensemble.
