The full details of the soundtrack album for the FX original series The Drop: A Snowfall Saga have been revealed. The album features the original songs from the show co-written by co-written by the project’s executive music producer Larrance “Rance 1500” Dopson and Jason “Problem” Martin. Also included is John’s Theme by Terrace Martin. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 27 by Hollywood Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Listen to several of the previously unreleased tracks below. The label has previously released multiple EPs/singles over the last couple of weeks. The Drop: A Snowfall Saga is created by Malcolm Spellman based on the original Snowfall series and stars Gail Bean, Isaiah John, Asante Blackk, Peyton Alex Smith and Simmie Sims III. The drama follows Snowfall characters Wanda Bell & Leon Simmons as they fight to reinvent themselves in ’90s Los Angeles, where the fallout from the crack epidemic is fueling a new game: the rise of West Coast rap.

‘Sneaks’ Score Album Released
BMG Rights Management has released a second soundtrack album for the animated feature Sneaks. The album features the film’s original score composed by rapper, music producer and multi-instrumentalist Terrace Martin who has made his scoring debut on the project . Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack. Also listen to Martin’s first two tracks (Mercury Chase & Central Park) below. The label has previously released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie earlier this month. Sneaks is directed by Rob Edwards and also features the voices of Anthony Mackie, Martin Lawrence, Chloe Bailey, Laurence Fishburne, Mustard (who also serves as the project’s executive music producer), Macy Gray, Roddy Ricch, Ella Mai, Swae Lee, Quavo and Chris Paul.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the horror movie Sinners written and directed by Ryan Coogler and starring Michael B. Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Omar Benson Miller, Jayme Lawson and Delroy Lindo. The film’s original score is composed by Ludwig Göransson (Oppenheimer, The Mandalorian, Black Panther, Creed, Tenet, Turning Red, Venom). Also opening wide is the romantic comedy The Wedding Banquet co-written and directed by Andrew Ahn and starring Bowen Yang, Lily Gladstone, Kelly Marie Tran, Han Gi-chan, Youn Yuh-jung and Joan Chen. Jay Wadley (I’m Thinking of Ending Things, Heart Eyes, Tell Me Lies, Franklin, Swan Song, Before, I Carry You with Me) has composed the film’s original score. No word on a soundtrack release. Terrace Martin Scoring Rob Edwards’ ‘Sneaks’
Rapper, music producer and multi-instrumentalist Terrace Martin is making his feature scoring debut on the upcoming animated movie Sneaks. The film is directed by Rob Edwards (screenwriter of The Princess and the Frog & Treasure Planet) and features the voices of Anthony Mackie, Martin Lawrence, Laurence Fishburne, Chloe Bailey, Mustard, Macy Gray, Roddy Ricch, Ella Mai,Swae Lee, Quavo and Chris Paul. The animated comedy follows a pair of one-of-a-kind, collector sneakers who get stolen by ‘the Collector’ and – in their attempt to escape – get separated in the middle of New York City.

Premiering on Thursday, February 17, is the Paramount+ animated series Big Nate based on the best-selling children’s books written and drawn by Lincoln Peirce and starring Ben Giroux, Rob Delaney, Dove Cameron, Arnie Pantoja, Daniel MK Cohen, Charlie Schlatter, Bryce Charles, Kevin M Richardson and Carolyn Hennessy. Frederik Wiedmann (The Dragon Prince, Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Field of Lost Shoes, Occupation: Rainfall, Hangman, Doom: Annihilation) is composing the show’s original music. The Nickelodeon Animation Studios production, which follows an 11-year-old boy and his best friends as they navigate sixth grade with humor and style, will be available to stream on Paramount+.

Rapper/singer and music producer Terrace Martin & jazz pianist/composer/record producer Robert Glasper (Miles Ahead, The Photograph) are scoring the new Peacock original series Bel-Air. The show based on the classic sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (starring Will Smith) and inspired by Morgan Cooper’s viral trailer stars Jabari Banks, Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, Olly Sholotan, Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, Jimmy Akingbola, Jordan L. Jones and Simone Joy Jones. The one-hour drama is set in modern day America and chronicles Will’s complicated journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air.
