French-Canadian pianist and neo-classical composer Alexandra Stréliski has written the original score for the upcoming Canadian/Polish historical drama Irena’s Vow. The film is directed by Louise Archambault (Gabrielle, And the Birds Rained Down) and stars Sophie Nélisse, Dougray Scott and Andrzej Seweryn. The movie is set in occupied Poland during World War II and tells the story of a former nurse who risks her own life to shelter a dozen Jewish men and women from the Nazi war machine.
