Silva Screen Records America has released a soundtrack album for the mini-series Hatfields & McCoys. The album features the original score from the series composed by John Debney and Tony Morales. Also included is the song I Know These Hills performed by Kevin Costner and Modern West. Lisbeth Scott (Avatar, The Passion of the Christ) is featured as a vocalist on the score. The album is now available to download on Amazon and audio clips from all tracks on the release are available after the jump. John Frizzell has signed on to score Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D. The latest reimagining of Tobe Hooper’s 1974 horror classic is directed by John Luessenhop (Takers, Lockdown) and stars Alexandra Daddario, Tania Raymonde, Thom Barry, Dan Yaeger and Trey Songz. The movie is reportedly set immediately after the original film and follows a young woman who travels to Texas to collect an inheritance that includes Leatherface. The project’s script is written by Adam Marcus (Jason Goes to Hell: Final Friday) and Debra Sullivan. Carl Mazzocone (Repo! The Genetic Opera, Boxing Helena) is producing and Avi Lerner & Mark Burger are among the executive producers of the Nu Image Films production. Varese Sarabande has announced the details of the soundtrack album for Season 2 of the HBO hit series Games of Thrones. The album features selections from Ramin Djawadi‘s original music from the second season of the show. The release date of the soundtrack has been pushed back to June 19, 2012 since our last update. Among the tracks featured on the album are Paradise Circus by Massive Attack, Romance In Durango by Bob Dylan, Mandala by Thievery Corporation (feat. Anoushka Shankar), Eternity’s Sunrise by John Taverner, Legalize It (Secret Circuit’s Echodelic Shockblast Dub) by Peter Tosh and Neptune’s Net by M. Ward. The soundtrack is scheduled to be released on July 3, 2012 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The full track list and cover art will be posted within the next few weeks. The track list for the soundtrack release for the comic book adaptation of The Amazing Spider-Man has been revealed (via JWFAN.com). The album features more than 75 minutes of the film’s original score composed by James Horner. The soundtrack will be released on July 3, 2012 by Sony Classical and is available for pre-order on Amazon. The album features the songs from the film by artists including Alice Russell, Countre Black, Foreigner, The Unknown, Black Daniel, Cloud Control, Joe Tex, Win Win featuring Blaqstarr and Beth Thornley. Toby Chu is scoring the upcoming 3D animated feature Dorothy of Oz. The film is directed by Dan St. Pierre (Everyone’s Hero) & Will Finn (The Road to El Dorado) and features the voice talent of Lea Michele, Hugh Dancy, Megan Hilty, Jim Belushi, Martin Short, Dan Aykroyd, Kelsey Grammer, Oliver Platt, Bernadette Peters and Patrick Stewart. The movie’s story begins where L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz ends and is adapted from the adventure book series written by the author’s great-grandson Roger Stanton-Baum. Bryan Adams has reportedly written original songs for the project. Gabriel Yared has been hired to score the romantic thriller Therese Raquin. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Charlie Stratton and stars Elizabeth Olsen, Jessica Lange and Tom Felton. The movie is based on a novel by Emile Zala and follows a sexually repressed woman who is trapped in a loveless marriage to her cousin  who has an affair with her husband’s childhood friend. The story takes place in 1860s Paris. William Horberg and Mickey Liddell (The Grey, Everwood) are producing the Wonderful Films and Liddell Entertainment production. Yared has previously collaborated with Horberg on Anthony Minghella’s The Talented Mr. Ripley and Cold Mountain. LD Distribution has domestic distribution rights for Therese Raquin and is expected to release the thriller in 2013. The album features the original score from the film written by Academy Award-nominated composer Javier Navarrete (Pan’s Labyrinth, Wrath of the Titans). Also included is the song Ay Carmela performed by both Voces Del Pueblo and Alarcon. The soundtrack will be released on June 12, 2012 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Hemingway & Gellhorn is directed by Philip Kaufman and stars Clive Owen, Nicole Kidman, David Strathairn, Parker Posey, Rodrigo Santoro, Molly Parker, Lars Ulrich, Peter Coyote, Diane Baker and Tony Shalhoub. The film tells the story of the romance between Ernest Hemingway and WWII correspondent Martha Gellhorn, Hemingway’s inspiration for For Whom the Bell Tolls. The award is bestowed on composers who have made significant contributions to the realm of film and television music.
