Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the action drama Seal Team 8: Behind Enemy Lines. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mark Kilian (Pitch Perfect, Tsotsi, Rendition, Traitor, Killer Women, The Ward). The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 29, 2014. Audio clips will be added to this article soon. Seal Team 8 is directed by Roel Reine and stars Tom Sizemore, Langley Kirkwood, Tanya van Graan and Lex Shrapnel. The movie takes place in Africa and follows a covert team of U.S. Navy SEALs that is sent to locate a secret mining operation and prevent the sale of weapons-grade uranium to international terrorists. ‘God Help the Girl’ Soundtrack Announced

Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the indie musical drama God Help the Girl. The album features three original songs by Belle & Sebastian frontman Stuart Murdoch and performed by the film’s cast. Also included is the original version of Belle and Sebastian’s Dress Up in You, plus dialogue and bits of score from the film. The soundtrack will be released in the UK on August 16, 2014 and in the U.S. on September 2. Visit Amazon to pre-order the album. God Help the Girl is written and directed by Murdoch, produced by Barry Mendel and stars Emily Browning, Olly Alexander and Hannah Murray as three friends joined together by music and its possibilities over a summer in Glasgow. Edward Shearmur has taken over scoring duties on the upcoming comedy Squirrels to the Nuts. The film is directed by Peter Bogdanovich (The Last Picture Show, Paper Moon) and stars Jennifer Aniston, Owen Wilson, Kathryn Hahn, Imogen Poots, Will Forte, Rhys Ifans, Lucy Punch, Cybill Shepherd, Ahna O’Reilly and Jake Hoffman. The movie follows a married Broadway director who meets a call girl and tries to convince her to change her life. Varese Sarabande has announced the details of the first soundtrack release for the A&E original series Bates Motel. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Chris Bacon (Source Code, Smash!). The soundtrack will be released on August 25, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Bates Motel is created by Carlton Cuse, Kerry Ehrin & Anthony Cipriano and stars Freddie Highmore, Vera Farmiga, Max Thieriot, Olivia Cooke, Nicola Peltz, Nestor Carbonell and Mike Vogel. ‘All Good Things’ Soundtrack Announced

Caldera Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 2010 thriller All Good Things. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob Simonsen (The Spectacular Now, The Way Way Back, Foxcatcher). Also included is an audio commentary with the composer as a bonus track. Carter Burwell is set to reunite with director Bill Condon on the upcoming drama Mr. Holmes. The film stars Ian McKellan as Sherlock Holmes at age 93, as well as Laura Linney, Hattie Morahan, Patrick Kennedy, Hiroyuki Sanada, Roger Allam, Phil Davis, Frances de la Tour and Milo Parker. The movie is set in 1947, when an ageing Holmes returns from a journey to Japan and faces the end of his days, tending to his bees, with only the company of his housekeeper and her young son. The film’s original music is composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Star Trek, Lost) who previously collaborated with the director on Cloverfield and Let Me In. ‘John Wick’ to Feature Music by Tyler Bates & Joel Richard

Tyler Bates and Joel Richard have composed the music for the upcoming action thriller John Wick. The film marks the directorial debut of stunt coordinators Chad Stahelski & David Leitch and stars Keanu Reeves, Bridget Moynahan, Willem Dafoe, Jason Isaacs, Adrianne Palicki, Alfie Allen, Dean Winters and Michael Nyqvist. The movie follows an ex-hitman who is pursued by an old friend who was contracted by a crime boss to kill him. Derek Kolstad has written the screenplay. Basil Iwanyk (The Town, Clash of the Titans) is producing the project for Thunder Road Pictures, alongside Mike Witherill (Frontera) for MJW Films.
