A soundtrack album has been released for the drama Atlas Shrugged: Who Is John Galt?. The album features the film’s original music composed by Elia Cmiral (Ronin, Stigmata, Wrong Turn) who previously scored the first part in the Atlas Shrugged movie trilogy. The soundtrack is now available to order directly from Atlas Productions and will be released digitally on Amazon and iTunes later this month. Gabriel Mann to Score NBC’s ‘Marry Me’

Gabriel Mann has been hired to score the upcoming NBC comedy Marry Me. The show is created by David Caspe (Happy Endings, That’s My Boy) and stars Casey Wilson, Ken Marino, Sarah Wright Olsen, John Gemberling, Tymberlee Hill and Tim Meadows. The comedy follows a young couple who get engaged, something they quickly realize is harder than it looks. Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, Identity Thief) has directed the pilot episode and also serves as an executive producer on the Sony Pictures Television production alongside Caspe, Jamie Tarses (Happy Endings, Men at Work), Moses Port & David Guarascio (Community, Just Shoot Me!). ‘Brush with Danger’ Soundtrack Details

A soundtrack album will be released for the martial arts crime thriller Brush with Danger. The album features the film’s original music composed by Garry Schyman (BioShock, Dante’s Inferno video games, The A-Team, Magnum, P.I.). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 19, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips are embedded after the jump. Brush with Danger is co-written, directed, produced by Livi Zheng who also stars in the film alongside Ken Zheng, Norman Newkirk and Nikita Brezniko. The movie tells the story of a brother and sister, who forced to flee their home in China, arrive inside a shipping container in Seattle, Washington to start a new life. Screamworks Records has released a soundtrack album for the horror thriller Dead Within. The album features the film’s original music composed by Joshua Bradford and Clayton Worbeck who are best known as members of the industrial rock bands Stayte, Revolting Cocks and Ministry. The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio clips. Dead Within is directed by Ben Wagner and stars Amy Cale Peterson and Dean Chekvala. The movie follows a man and a woman who survive a deadly outbreak by isolating themselves in a cabin. The psychological thriller is set to be released this fall by Millennium Entertainment. Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the family movie Dolphin Tale 2 written and directed by Charles Martin Smith and starring Harry Connick, Jr., Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd, Kris Kristofferson, Nathan Gamble, Cozi Zuehlsdorff and Austin Stowell. The film’s original music is composed by Rachel Portman (The Cider House Rules, Chocolat, The Manchurian Candidate). Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Alex Da Kid to Develop Movie Musical ‘Ziggy’

British music producer Alex Da Kid is developing the original contemporary music for the upcoming movie musical Ziggy. The film is directed by Diesel Schwarze who previously worked with Baz Luhrmann on Moulin Rouge! and Broadway’s La Boheme. The period movie is set to star Dane DeHaan and Rooney Mara and follows a hunchback escape artist who arrives in New York during the mass-culture boom of the late 1920s and falls in love with the fiance of a powerful media mogul. Lynette Howell and Jamie Patricof (The Place Beyond the Pines, Blue Valentine, Half Nelson) are producing the project for their Electric City Entertainment company. ‘Wish I Was Here’ Score Album Released

Miles of Lions Records has released a score album for Zach Braff’s indie dramedy Wish I Was Here. The soundtrack features the film’s original score composed by Rob Simonsen (The Spectacular Now, (500) Days of Summer, The Way Way Back). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon and iTunes, where you can also listen to audio clips. Also watch a video featuring Simonsen performing his theme from the score on the piano below. Columbia Records has previously released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the film. Wish I Was Here stars Zach Braff, Kate Hudson, Joey King, Jim Parsons, Ashley Green, Mandy Patinkin and Josh Gad. The Kickstarter-funded film written and directed by Braff follows a thirtysomething man who finds himself at major crossroads, which forces him to examine his life, his career, and his family. Caldera Records has announced the details of the soundtrack release for the action thriller Tokarev (released in the U.S. under the title Rage). The album features the film’s original music composed by Laurent Eyquem (Copperhead, Winnie Mandela). Tokarev is directed by Paco Cabezas and stars Nicolas Cage, Rachel Nichols and Danny Glover. The thriller follows a respectable businessman who rounds up his old crew to help him find his kidnapped teenage daughter.
