Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the survival thriller Last Breath co-written and directed by Alex Parkinson and starring Woody Harrelson, Simu Liu, Cliff Curtis and Finn Cole. The film’s original music is composed by Paul Leonard-Morgan (Limitless, Boston Strangler, Fellow Travelers, Dredd, Bodkin, Dynasty, Tales from the Loop, Wormwood). Filmtrax/Atlantic Screen Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Also opening wide is the drama My Dead Friend Zoe directed by Kyle Hausmann-Stokes and starring Sonequa Martin-Green, Natalie Morales, Ed Harris, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Morgan Freeman and Gloria Reuben. Dan Romer (Luca, Station Eleven, Maniac, Superman & Lois, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Beasts of No Nation) has composed the film’s original score and also co-wrote the original song Beautiful Ruin (with Kaia Kater) for the project. No word yet on a soundtrack release.
