The movie follows a disgruntled armored car driver who teams up with a pretty co-worker and a group of inexperienced criminals to steal nearly $20 million from a bank vault. ‘Cartel Land’ Soundtrack Announced

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Cartel Land. The album features the film’s original music composed by H. Scott Salinas (The Square, Allegiance, Murder in the First) and Jackson Greenberg. The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 30, 2015 and physically on September 18. Cartel Land is directed by Matthew Heineman and centers on the battle between border vigilante groups and murderous Mexican drug cartels, with the vigilantes able to accomplish things law enforcement cannot. The album features the film’s original music composed by Angelo Badalamenti (Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, The Straight Story), Lasse Martinussen and Johan Carøe, as well as the title song Remember Me performed by Kwamie Liv. Walt Disney Records has released the music from the Pixar animated short Lava. The single features the original song from the movie composed by the film’s director James Ford Murphy and featuring vocals by Kuana Torres Kahele and Napua Greig. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out an audio sample. Lava tells a story that takes place over millions of years and is inspired by the beauty of tropical islands and the allure of ocean volcanoes. The animated short is being released in front of Pixar’s Inside Out, which opens in theaters nationwide this Friday, July 19.

La-La Land Records has released a remastered and expanded soundtrack for Paramount Pictures 1993 drama Searching for Bobby Fischer directed by Steven Zaillian and starring Joe Mantegna, Laurence Fishburne and Joan Allen. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by James Horner (Titanic, Braveheart, Avatar, A Beautiful Mind, Apollo 13), including previously unreleased music and a number of alternate cues.
