‘Sinister 2’ Soundtrack Released

sinister-2Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album for the horror sequel Sinister 2. The album features the film’s original music composed by tomandandy (The Mothman Prophecies, The Strangers, Resident Evil: Retribution, The Rules of Attraction). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. A physical version is set to be released later this year. Click here to pre-order the CD. elena-of-avalorTony Morales is composing the music for Disney Television Animation’s upcoming series Elena of Avalor. The show centers around 16-year old Princess Elena, a confident and compassionate teenager in an enchanted fairytale kingdom inspired by diverse Latin cultures and folklore. The character will be introduced in an episode of Disney’s hit series Sofia the First. Aimee Carrero will be providing the voice of the lead character. the-meddlerJonathan Sadoff is reteaming with director Lorene Scafaria on the upcoming indie comedy drama The Meddler. The film is written and directed by Scafaria and stars Rose Byrne, Susan Sarandon and J.K. Simmons. The movie follows a young woman who is trying desperately to establish some boundaries with her incessantly doting mother. Joy Gorman (Adult World) and Paul Green (The Loft) are producing the Anonymous Content production. mr-rightAaron Zigman has composed the music for the upcoming action comedy Mr. Right. The film is directed by Paco Cabezas (RageNeon Flesh) and stars Sam Rockwell, Anna Kendrick, Tim Roth, James Ransone, Anson Mount, Michael Eklund and RZA. The movie follows a woman who has had bad luck finding love until she meets Mr. Right, who turns out to be a reformed hit man. Max Landis (Chronicle, American Ultra, Victor Frankenstein) has written the screenplay. The album features the film’s original music written by Academy Award-nominated composer Thomas Newman (American Beauty, The Shawshank Redemption, Finding Nemo, Skyfall).
