Needlewood Records has released a soundtrack album for the German thriller Corpus Delicti. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Volker Bertelmann (Conclave, All Quiet on the Western Front, Clayface, Verity, Lion, Dune: Prophecy, Adrift, Pressure, Hotel Mumbai, The Amateur, The Day of the Jackal, One Life) and Lennart Saathoff (Smalltown Girl, Instructions for Survival). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and most other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composers’ first track after the jump. Corpus Delicti is written and directed by Lena Stahl and stars Hannah Herzsprung, Damian Hardung, Alexander Fehling, Christian Friedel and Haley Louise Jones. The movie based on Juli Zeh’s novel of the same title is set in a society, where comprehensive health and absolute transparency are the guiding principles and follows a scientist whose life is turned upside down when her brother is accused of murder. The thriller was released in German theaters earlier this month. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
