The movie is based a short story of the same name by E.L. Doctorow and follows a Manhattan lawyer who unexpectedly leaves his wife and winds up staying in his attic for several months due to a nervous breakdown. Bonnie Curtis (Saving Private Ryan, Minority Report) and Julie Lynn (Albert Nobbs, Passengers, Mother and Child) are producing the project for their Mockingbird Pictures company, alongside Broadway producers Wendy Federman and Carl Moellenberg. Royal (Easy A) & Karen DiConcetto based on the young adult novel by Blake Nelson and stars Jessica Sula, Alexis Carra, Sebastian De Souza, Daniel Franzese, Sharon Leal, Kyla Pratt and David Witts. The drama follows a teenage girl struggling with addiction who is moving into a sober-living facility while still dealing with the normal pressures of being a teenager. weinerJeff Beal is composing the music for the upcoming documentary Weiner. The film is directed by Josh Kriegman & Elyse Steinberg and centers on the disgraced New York Congressman Anthony Weiner’s mayoral campaign and reveals the human story behind the scenes of a high-profile political scandal as it unfolds, and offers an unfiltered look at how much today’s politics is driven by an appetite for spectacle. Kriegman and Steinberg are also producing the project. Weiner will premiere next month in competition at the Sundance Film Festival. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Rachel Portman (EmmaThe Cider House RulesChocolatThe Manchurian CandidateNever Let Me Go). The soundtrack will be released on February 19, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. radioheadRadiohead frontman Thom Yorke has published an unused title song for the latest James Bond film, Spectre. The singer/songwriter announced on Twitter today: “Last year we were asked to write a tune for Bond movie Spectre. Yes we were…it didn’t work out…but became something of our own which we love very much…As the year closes we thought you might like to hear it. Merry Christmas. May the force be with you.” The track is available to stream after the jump. Sam Smith performed the song Writing’s On the Wall, which was ultimately chosen as the title track for Spectre. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the critically acclaimed USA original series Mr. Robot. The album will feature selections from the Golden Globe-nominated show’s original music composed by Mac Quayle (American Horror Story: Freak Show & Hotel, Scream Queens). The soundtrack is set to be released in the summer of 2016 before the drama’s second season premiere. As previously reported, a soundtrack was originally planned for a release to coincide with the show’s home video release in January. The full details of the album will be posted on this page as they are announced.
