Sub Pop Records will release a soundtrack album for the Fox animated series Bob’s Burgers featuring the songs from the show. The album is set to be released later this fall, but four advance tracks, including the comedy’s theme song, as well as the songs Electric Love, Bad Stuff Happens in the Bathroom and St. Vincent’s cover of Bad Girls will be available to download this coming Tuesday, September 20. Jon Benjamin, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Larry Murphy, John Roberts and Kristen Schaal follows Bob Belcher and his wife and three kids who try to run their last hope of holding the family together, which is running Bob’s dream restaurant. the-good-placePremiering tomorrow, September 19, is the new NBC comedy The Good Place created by Michael Schur (Parks and Recreation) and starring Kristen Bell, Ted Danson, Jameela Jamil, William Jackson Harper, Manny Jacinto and D’Arcy Carden. The show’s original music is composed by David Schwartz (Arrested DevelopmentNorthern ExposureReaperLady Dynamite). elleSony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for Paul Verhoeven’s psychological thriller Elle. The album features the film’s original music written by Academy Award-winning composer Anne Dudley (The Full MontyAmerican History XPoldark, The Crying Game) who previously scored the director’s war drama Black Book. The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 23, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD version is set to come out later this year. Elle stars Isabelle Huppert, Laurent Lafitte, Anne Consigny, Charles Berling, Virgine Aefira, Judith Magre, Christian Berkel, Jonas Bloquet, Alice Isaaz and Vimila Pons. Four new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:

blair-witchOpening in most theaters is the horror thriller Blair Witch directed by  Adam Wingard (The GuestYou’re Next) and starring James Allen McCune, Callie Hernandez, Brandon Scott, Valorie Curry, Corbin Reid and Wes Robinson. Wingard has also composed the film’s original music. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the movie’s score. snowden-scoreAlso opening wide is the biographical drama Snowden directed by Oliver Stone and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Shailene Woodley, Melissa Leo, Zachary Quinto, Tom Wilkinson, Rhys Ifans and Nicolas Cage. The film’s original music is composed by Craig Armstrong (Moulin Rouge!The Great GatsbyThe Incredible HulkWorld Trade Center) and Adam Peters (Savages) has contributed additional music. The album features the film’s original music composed by Holly Amber Church (Rites of Spring). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The Devil’s Dolls is directed by Padraig Reynolds and stars Christopher Wiehl, Kym Jackson, Tina Lifford, Samantha Smith, Kennedy Brice, Brandon Johnson, Brea Grant and Yohance Mile. The movie revolves around a serial killer’s curse that unleashes a season of slaughter in the backwoods of Mississippi and is pitting a detective against the clock to save his daughter’s life. The show is created by Dan Fogelman (Crazy, Stupid, LoveTangledGalavantDanny Collins) & Rick Singer and stars Kylie Bunbury, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Ali Larter, Mark Consuelos, Dan Lauria, Mo McRae, Meagan Holder and Tim Jo. The series tells the story of Ginny Baker, who becomes the first woman to play Major League Baseball – under the glare of a white-hot media spotlight. Fogelman and Singer are also executive producing the 20th Century Fox Television production with Kevin Falls (Summer Catch), Tony Bill (The StingFlyboys), Helen Bartlett (Untamed Heart), Jess Rosenthal and Paris Barclay (Sons of Anarchy). rogue-oneMichael Giacchino has taken over scoring duties on the upcoming Star Wars spin-off Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The composer is replacing Alexandre Desplat who was originally scoring the film directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) and starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed and Forest Whitaker. The album features selections from the original music of the show’s first season composed by Kevin Kiner (Star Wars: the Clone Wars, Hell on Wheels, CSI: Miami). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 16 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Star Wars Rebels is executive produced by Simon Kinberg, Dave Filoni & Greg Weisman and features the voices of Freddie Prinze, Jr., Taylor Gray, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar and Vanessa Marshall. The Lucasfilm Animation production, which is set in between  Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, premiered in 2014 and will return for a third season on September 24, 2016 on Disney XD.
