The end credits track, entitled The Master of the Mystic End Credits composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Star Trek, Lost, The Incredibles, Jurassic World) can be checked out after the jump. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 21 and physically next month. the-haunted-mansionIntrada Records has announced the world premiere release of the original score for Walt Disney Pictures’ 2003 feature The Haunted Mansion directed by Rob Minkoff and starring Eddie Murphy, Terence Stamp, Wallace Shawn, Marsha Thomason and Jennifer Tilly. The album features the film’s music composed by Mark Mancina (TarzanTwisterSpeedBrother BearCon AirBad BoysMoana). The 2-CD set includes the complete score, as well as unused alternates and additional cues. Only one track from the composer’s score has previously been released and was featured on the original 2003 soundtrack album. Autumn Lights is written and directed by Angad Aulakh and stars Guy Kent, Marta Gastini, Sveinn Ólafur Gunnarsson, Thora Bjorg Helga, Salome R. lorne-balfeLorne Balfe has been hired to score the National Geographic Channel’s first scripted series Genius. The show’s first season is based on Walter Isaacson’s book Einstein: His Life and Universe and stars Geoffrey Rush as Albert Einstein. Ron Howard (Apollo 13A Beautiful MindBackdraft) is directing the first episode of the drama, which chronicles how an imaginative, rebellious patent clerk, who couldn’t get a teaching job or a doctorate, unlocked the mysteries of the atom and the universe. Johnny Flynn co-stars as Einstein in the years before he rose to international attention and acclaim. The film is directed by James Oakley (The Devil You Know) and stars Uma Thurman, Stephen Fry, Tim Roth, Parker Posey, Maggie Q, Alice Eve, Crispin Glover and Sofia Vergara. The movie follows a British con-artist couple who flee to Los Angeles to avoid paying a large debt to a gangster and try to win back the money via a jewel theft operation. quanticoJoseph Trapanese has taken over scoring duties on the ABC drama Quantico. He is scoring the show starting with the third episode of the second season, which premieres tonight. Joel J. Richard (John Wick) has previously scored the first season and first two episodes of the current season. Quantico is created by Joshua Safran and stars Priyanka Chopra, Jake McLaughlin, Aunjanue Ellis, Yasmine Al Massri, Johanna Braddy, Russell Tovey, Pearl Thusi and Blair Underwood. The series executive produced by Safran, Mark Gordon, Robert Sertner, Jorge Zamacona and Nicholas Pepper follows a group of young FBI recruits, all with specific reasons for joining, who battle their way through training at the Quantico base in Virginia. The show is created by Alexandra Cunningham (Desperate HousewivesPrime Suspect) and Kem Nunn and stars Hugh Laurie, Gretchen Mol, Clark Peters, Paul Adelstein, Diane Farr, Lisa Gay Hamilton, Stefania LaVie Owen, Greta Lee and Ethan Suplee. The drama is based on Nunn’s novel and revolves around a forensic neuropsychiatrist who reluctantly gets sucked into a violent and dangerous world of mistaken identity, police corruption and mental illness.
