Four new movies are opening nationwide this week:
Already playing nationwide since this past Wednesday is the animated feature Sing directed by Garth Jennings and starring Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Seth MacFarlane,Taron Egerton, John C. Reilly, Tori Kelly and Nick Kroll. Republic Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie in different editions. Click here for more information. Also now playing nationwide is the sci-fi romance Passengers directed by Morten Tyldum and starring Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt, Michael Sheen, Aurora Perrineau and Laurence Fishburne. Thomas Newman (American Beauty, The Shawshank Redemption, Finding Nemo, Skyfall) has composed the film’s original score. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score.
