Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album for the French psychological horror thriller Raw. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jim Williams (Sightseers, Kill List, A Field in England). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 10, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Death Waltz Recording Company will release a vinyl version in mid-April. The movie follows a vegetarian veterinary school student who is pressured at school to try meat for the first time. ‘La La Land in Concert: A Live-to-Film Celebration’ Announced

Lionsgate today announced that the world premiere of La La Land in Concert: A Live-to-Film Celebration will take place at the Hollywood Bowl on Memorial Day weekend Friday, May 26 and Saturday, May 27. Composer Justin Hurwitz will conduct his Academy Award-winning score for Damien Chazelle’s hit film musical and song City of Stars (with lyrics by Benj Pasek &Justin Paul) performed live-to-film by a 100-piece symphony orchestra, choir, and Jazz ensemble, accompanying the film’s original vocal recordings. The movie follows a former rodeo star who unknowingly starts a rapport with a young man who is responsible for all of the violence that has suddenly gripped his small town. ‘Power Rangers’ Soundtrack Details

The details of the soundtrack album for the Power Rangers reboot have been announced. The album features the film’s original music composed by Brian Tyler (Fast & Furious series, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor: The Dark World, Now You See Me). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 24, 2017 by Varese Sarabande and will be available to download here. A CD version is set to come out on April 21 and is available for pre-order on Amazon. Power Rangers is directed by Dean Israelite and stars Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Becky G, Ludi Lin, Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Banks. The movie follows five ordinary teens who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove -and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Four new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Guaranteed to top the weekend box office is the comic book movie Logan directed by James Mangold and starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant and Dafne Keen. The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (The Wolverine, 3:10 to Yuma, Scream, World War Z, Hellboy, The Hurt Locker). Also opening wide is the teen drama Before I Fall directed by Ry Russo-Young and starring Zoey Deutch, Halston Sage, Logan Miller, Kian Lawley, Elena Kampouris, Diego Boneta, Jennifer Beals, Cynthy Wu and Medalion Rahimi. Adam Taylor (Meadowland, August: Osage County) has composed the film’s original score. No soundtrack album has been released. Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for DreamWorks Animation’s feature The Boss Baby. Hauschka to Score ‘Hotel Mumbai’

Hauschka (aka Volker Bertelmann) has signed on to score the upcoming thriller Hotel Mumbai. The film is directed by Anthony Maras and stars Dev Patel, Armie Hammer, Anupam Kher, Jason Isaacs and Nazanin Boniadi. The movie is based on the 2009 documentary Surviving Mumbai and tells the true story of the 2008 Pakistani terrorist attacks on the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in India. Maras also co-wrote the screenplay with John Collee (Master and Commander, Happy Feet). Basil Iwanyk (The Town, Sicario, John Wick), Gary Hamilton (The Courier), Mike Gabrawy (A Few Best Men), Andrew Ogilvie and Julie Ryan (Red Dog) are producing the Arclight Film, Thunder Road, Electric Pictures and Cyan Films production.
