The details of the soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 have been revealed. The album features the songs from the movie by artists including Fleetwood Mac, Glen Campbell, George Harrison, Electric Light Orchestra, Sam Cooke, Yusuf & Cat Stevens, Looking Glass & more. Also included is the original song Guardians Inferno performed by The Sneepers feat. David Hasselhoff, which was written by the movie’s composer Tyler Bates and director James Gunn, as well as Sweet’s Fox on the Run as featured in the sci-fi adventure’s trailer. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on April 21, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A separate soundtrack featuring Bates’ original score will be announced soon. Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the BBC mini-series The Witness for the Prosecution. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominee Paul Englishby (An Education, Page Eight, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, Luther, The Musketeers) who received an Ivor Novello nomination in the Best Television Soundtrack category this year for his work on the project. The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 28, 2017. The download link will be added to this article within the next week. Laurent Perez Del Mar is set to compose the music for the upcoming dramatic thriller I Kill Giants. The movie is directed by Anders Walter and stars Zoe Saldana, Madison Wolfe, Imogen Poots, Jennifer Ehle and Noel Clarke. The film is based on the 2008 graphic novel of the same title by Joe Kelly and tells the story of a young misfit girl named Barbara battling both real and imaginary monsters in her life. La-La Land Records has announced a soundtrack album for last year’s tenth season of The X-Files. The album features the music from the Fox event series composed by Emmy Award winner Mark Snow (Smallville, Millennium) who scored all episodes of the show. The 2-CD set will be released next Tuesday, April 25 and will be available to order on the label’s official website. The X-Files is created by Chris Carter and stars David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Mitch Pileggi.
